I like that idea! Did you run the power cord directly to your atv battery? Did you use inline fuse? Thank you!

What condition was your shelter in? Was your Clam full thermal? Did your shelter have hyfax, travel cover etc…? I feel like $250 is really low. People forget to add tax to something they buy. A $499 shelter becomes basically $530. I’ve had offers of more than $450, minutes after posting. Thanks for your concern though.

You make a very good point about the steady pressure proceeding the show and our inconsistent pressure now before this big drop. I am beginning to think there are too many factors even within pressure that makes you want to beat your head against the wall. I will continue to fish when I can and not rely too much on weather, but will still take a look at the graph before venturing out to put together my own strategy/pattern, if there are ever is one.

Thanks for the input castle-rock-clown! I will usually stay in a spot for 5-10 minutes, if fish are not located. Once I find a school if fish, I have sat on them from 5 minutes to 2 hours depending on the bite. I usually bring a heater as my past shelters were not thermal. I was considering the thermal, from the standpoint of potentially not having to bring my heater and to save on space and weight. The real question is by buying a full thermal will a heater still be necessary? If its still necessary for those cold days, then I will go the cheaper route.
