Man I hope you guys get to them… wish I could have made it up there…
It felt good just getting the rust of and bending a rod, Dave…
Ok, I am back and here is the rest of the report for the road trip.
So as I said we left Thursday, drove 7 hrs to Belcourt, ND to meet up with my Buddy Chet. After eating dinner at his mothers house, we hit the ice on the lake right across the road from her house, that they were catching walleyes in the day before. For the two hours we were out there we got the the rust off on the perch and walleyes in the snow storm..
Day 2. we went to a lake that a buddy was fishing the weekend before and I will tell you what we had a tough time getting the fish to bite after the cold front that came through, we got are buts kicked .
Day3 we hit Lake Jarvis for a mult. spe. day of fishing, We murdered the perch, got a few walleyes and even found some of the hard to catch Lake Jarvis bull blue gills.
that’s funny EK, I have never had that happen to me with my robin, I love the machine and would not trade it for the world. I tested the honda in the first year Randy put them out, I liked it, rand good and cut just like my other 4-stroke. she was a little cold blooded but ran great after it was started in the cold.
it was a great night out there, I wish I was there right now… we are going to hit again soon.
I have been using a fly reel for a couple seasons now and like it for shallow water. In deeper water I have been using tica reels for any years now and love, and never have had a problem with any of them.
I don’t know what to think of this guy..
But Back to the report, the fish were hanging on some mid rang structure.
well it looks like you have npaa # so you should know how to find fish.. would you like to give up some of your tourney spots and what you were using to get the fish on, for us to go burn them up on you. I don’t think you would, get a life spank.
Had a great time chasin crapos with ya trav, lets do it again very soon…
These are the greatest boots for spring fishing in the or from shore ever made…
you can not beat the P-Line… I like it alot.
when I am weed fishing I like the Sufix ice magic in orange…
There still are many spots open for this event… This is great way to learn form the very best Ice Fishing Tournament world and compete against them as well.. There will a full weekend of events like a seminar , a kids ice fishing camp and free give aways.. So mark you calendars and come get in on all the fun.

sounds to me that he has a ducer problem it more than likely has a bad crystal in it.
when you are going to start drilling try the place the choke at half way and see what happens. If it work like that you have a problem with it running to rich.
Thats why I like fishing with you so much partner you and I are not that different… I grew up the same way and I love my papa for it…. to many more great years with our partnership and fishing with our biggest hero’s.. our Dads…
I will only run amsoil… just don’t lean the heck out of it and you will be fine.
I want to try fishing more walleye’s. I am a pan fish guy but it get a little boring sometimes.
he was on the road for work but he said the he was thinking about it.
This is the reason there is 5,000 people out there, why would you name a small lake like this. You are the first guy on all the web sites to show pics and make a real report on this lake. way to go on getting it fished out.
this is going to be a great event, some of the best pan fish anglers from around the Ice belt we be fishing this.
we need to bring this sport back to Minnesota, so crab a partner and get in on the fun.
if they are open on the west side of the lake, Rocky Reef has some great food. its a nice small place.
well she slow down, mid last week. I think it will get going again some soon. man what a great time.
