This change happened back when Governor Walker was in office. The Railroads convinced someone that this was a safety issue when in fact there is essentially no history of anyone ever getting hurt crossing a track other than at a road crossing.

Conservation groups and the Conservation Congress have been trying to get it changed ever since with no success. The Legislature and the Governor(s) don’t seem to care that tens of thousands of acres of public land has been cut off from use. There are even private landowners who own land on both sides of a RR ROW that can’t legally cross it.

    Ridiculous.

No restrictions at all on anything less than 2 acres. Larger than that is typed as non-productive. You are allowed up to 20 percent non-productive (won’t or isn’t growing timber).

That’s the same problem I had. One of the tech guys from IDO contacted me abd said he was working on it. Seemed better for a while but I’m getting it again. Turning my phone sideways doesn’t work either.

Makes me visit less often for sure.

Except they don’t even do blood tests for an annual physical.

The problem is that a check up now consists of little more than getting weighed and having your blood pressure checked. Under most plans, anything you ask about is not covered and you will be charged for discussion and any other evaluation or testing. If you have any significant findings you will be referred several times before getting to someone that can diagnose the problem.

The days of going in for a physical and discovering a heath concern are long gone. Finding something early is likely only when discovered as a result of something like the traumas described above.

Beand doesn’t matter but it needs to match your saw/chain specs.

    6’6″ inside hight.

This floor is carpeted like our blinds. I would anticipate changing to something different when we finalize the design. My first thought is something similar the textured flooring in boats.

We have use the frame to support around the floors so it only makes sense to have the runners in conjunction with the frame.

The blinds are intended to be either permanent once set up or to be “portable” and be able to be taken down and set up when necessary such as going on a hunt out of state, before the season/taken down at the end of season, changing leases, etc.

In the case of the ice house, I would anticipate that these would be either be set up at the fishing location or at the landing and then towed out from there. Although we have done some testing and are comfortable rating them for 70 mph winds, I am not certain if it will be suitable for being pulled on a trailer behind a truck for long distances consistently due to the additional bouncing and getting banged around. We will have to due some testing to make sure there aren’t any durability issues. Will additional strapping, I am not at all worried.

the two fishermen will be on opposite sides with the holes they are fishing in front of them and the other holes next to them. Here is a picture of the floor yesterday during assembly. I need to get it put together on with the walls and sit in it with a rod, chair, etc. to evaluate spacing. I think the holes may need to be farther away from the fisherman but that is a very simple change in CAD to make.

This will already have skids. This concept will be applied to our 6×6 blinds but could be modified to almost any configuration due the modular design. This first kick at the cat turns a $3299 deer blind into a $4299 combination ice house and deer blind.

I have thought about blacking the windows out (or having fewer/none in the case of a unit specific for ice fishing), spearing hole, and different hole configurations as well.

I’m pretty excited about the project. I think it would be a great alternative to the much more expensive Ice Castle type set ups. Obviously it can’t have all the features of those units, but a great option that doesn’t cost $20k or more.

    Thanks guys.

It always does it for me whether I scroll or not. Backing out and opening it again doesn’t affect it either.

I didn’t get any answers after it was moved however. Because it was not seen any more. Lol.

Seems like a complaint about something incredibly simple. Either have your spouse go with you, have them pick up theirs the next time they go to the store, or buy it online. If that was my biggest inconvenience I would be happy.

Posts about pizza places, trips to the dells, sports teams, and a zillion other things that have nothing to do with fishing are left under general fishing. Doesn’t make sense to move mine. Fortunately I got the information I was looking for but maybe someone else might have learned from it.

I posted a question on mapping options that was moved to mapping under big boys toys. A category that hasn’t had a post in it for three months and I didn’t even know existed.

    That stinks!!!

Wife and I just bought 2 hand guns on line and had then shipped to our local FFL.
Wife ran and did the paperwork. By the time she got back to work (about 1/2 hour) they called her and said approved… come get them.
    I was actauly quite suprised.
Now, if we could only find reasonable deals on ammo… bulk.

If you and your wife bought them, she can’t legally do the paperwork for both.

You don’t have to wear the tether unless you are under way. If you are under way, you should be driving not getting bait or changing lures.

If your deed doesn’t show you own land on the other side of the highway, you don’t. You can’t put personal property on land you don’t own.

There might be a right of way for the road that reaches water but that doesn’t mean you can put a dock on it.

I can’t believe anyone would buy a piece of property without knowing if they had water access.

Topping off the tank isn’t her problem, that’s the correct technique. She got bad gas from somewhere.

We can hunt them with hounds and some of the zones will hit their quota trigger after one day. Even when we had previous seasons the trappers were hitting the triggers in two days.

Winter blend should be fine for anything we’re having. Really no need for any additive. As mentioned above, your DEF is the weak link. It will freeze and you’ll never get it home.

X 2 my brother in laws truck 2020 duramax with like 15,000 miles on it def heater went out, no parts to be had and already been out his truck for 3 weeks and now there saying it could be months!

I would say that 1 in 4 people I know with DEF systems have had theirs freeze. Same with equipment operators. When mine went out there were no parts available and not even an estimate of when there might be one available. Kind of hard to run a business when your work truck will not run because of a stupid design of a stupid emissions requirement.

Let’s just say I won’t have to worry about it ever again.

Be glad they got back to you that quickly. That’s record time for them. There’s no way they can get away with saying they won’t accept returns because of the time it took to get the initial defect corrected. Dispute the purchase through your credit card You will get much better service that way.
