    I have a 1987 110hp Johnson that this happens to on occasion. I take the cowling off and slap the black box with all the wires in it like I am Fonzie, and it works. Eventually I will take the time to troubleshoot it and actually fix it, but the Fonz is getting me by for now.

    So are people going to be keeping logs. Would be cool to knock down the DNR’s door with a bunch of diaries after they faded into the sunset.

    Such a sticker system seems to represent discrimination don’t you think? Judge me not by the color of my skin but the color of the sticker on my boat. Watch the invasives like zebra mussels and spiny water flea REALLY spread with a system like this. People will say “I already have a RED sticker so I don’t need to do anything.” Milfoil lakes will get zebra mussels and spiny water fleas real quick.

    I oppose this big time. This isn’t a state with 4 lakes. There isn’t enough money to pull this off.
