The bluegill are hitting a little bit. Ive heard of people catching a few crappies here and there, but real slow. I figure about another couple weeks the slabs will be on.

I saw someone else mention Smokey Mountain. That stuff seemed to work for me as well. According to the back of the can, it’s basically just corn silk and molases. Seemed to work for me though. My brother took Chantix to help him quit. He said it worked well, but the side effects were bad. Anyhow good luck to ya.

Yeah I agree, If you hit em’ with a strong LED you can get them to last a little longer.

HAHA that is great. Had a rough night at work, that helped, laughed all the way out of the hospital.

Havent heard anything about 3 or 12 mile, but I’ve found ice to be anywhere from 10-14 inches on farm ponds. Good luck

I usually use my camera vertically in the same hole as I’m fishing. I set my camera looking down on top of my jig. I have an Aqua Vu explorer and it comes with a vertical attachment that you put on the camera and you can look straight down. I think I can keep the jig in the middle of the screen easier this way. This method works a little better for me. Sorry if I didnt have the answer you were looking for, but good luck anyhow.

We seen just mostly gills on the cam. My buddies boy said he thought he saw a bass as well. I looked at the DNR website and it said they put a ton of fish in it every year, due to so much fishing pressure

Just off the boat ramp if you head north, there are a couple of points. All along those points the DNR placed trees and pallets last summer. They run north and south of the points. If you can find some of the cover you can find some slabs. I was down there last weekend and caught a few. Located alot of fish and they chased but not real apt to bite. I have never had much luck there past dark, but ya never know. Well good luck.

Yeah the water in Roberts is pretty bad. Not real clear. Just flood control, silt/mud bottom. The pressure isnt too bad, buts thats usually because the bite isnt on. Not too many people on the hard ice. Most of em start in the spring for crappie. You can find some slabs on Robets but you better have some sharp blades.
