I have always had a topper on my trucks and transported dogs. Two must haves for me is sliding vented side windows that flip up. I am also partial to ARE Toppers because their locks are the best. Every other topper their locks fail with Mn winters.

I believe your problems are in the ECU. I had a 2004 Yamaha f115 that didn’t like to start on cold mornings. I figured it out by taking the ECU off and placing it on the dash of my truck with the heater on high. Drove an hour to the landing, put the ECU back on and it fired up right away and ran all day. When it was cold there was a connection within the ECU that was contracting and when warmed up would expand and make the connection. I ended up biting the bullet and bought a new ECU and never had the problem again. Its worth a try…

My 2014 boat came with Northern Batteries. I Just replaced them this year and stuck with the Northerns. I thought 6 years out of them was pretty good. Fished all day Sunday on Mille Lacs with the wind and never ran out of Battery. They get my 100% approval. Bought them off Amazon free shipping.

Palerider77, My shed is 24′ deep. With my 2014 2090 backed straight in I have to push the garage door out slightly to close it around the tongue that’s folded in. So you need at the bare minimum 24′ Hope this helps.

You always want to give your dog the advantage. Work him into the wind. He will have an easier time picking up the scent that way. Slow down and let him work and most of all follow him and trust his nose. Also be quite and don’t slam the truck door, don’t yell at your buddy. Work pinch points Pheasants will run a long way and flush in the last little bit of cover.

Great fish guys! Congrats on the win.

Brian have you ever put any thought in being IDO’s In-depth on the water Reporter? After all you did the web cast of the take off, interviews before and after the tourney. I for one would like to see better coverage of the tournaments run out of Everts. The live web cast was great but A posting of the leader board after the event would be fabulous.

    Just a thought,
    Jeff

For all the people that fish on the weekends and have little to no success…..take notes! Best gear, best electronics mean nothing when weather strikes.

If you dont know where to fish

I personally got my limit today in about 45 minutes, a couple whites too. I guess I should be an FLW pro

You most certainly could have. All you would’ve had to do is fish the four qualifying tournaments during the year. Finish the year 42 or better of the 202 FLW Walleye Pro’s and your in. Easy I guess.

Last year the tournament rigs were parked in the public lot over by the baseball field and they shuttled the anglers over by golf cart. I would think the same would happen this year.

Sounds like an electrical issues. I would check all electrical connections to and from the motor. Could also be a faulty tether switch. Does the 15 have an engine control unit? If so that’s were I would start looking at connections. Hope this helps electrical issues can be difficult to figure out.

    Good luck, Jeff

Final event in this division to qualify for 2010 Championship also on the river.

Sounds like it’ll be on the river, Good choice by the FTF crew

Ya I read that too. But I was wondering were on the river? Mississippi or the Croix. Hudson, Red Wing, Lake City, Winona, LaCrosse or Praire du Chien just because it said river doesn’t mean Red Wing. This championship is not to far away a guy needs to get places to stay lined up. Hope this clarified things.

    Kirt,
I agree with HRG. A little marine silicone on the bottom of the puck and your good to go.

There should be a slot on either side of the light. Pry it open with a small slotted screw driver. The lens and all should pop out.

Sounds like the brushes in the electric motor are bad. Same thing happened to me. Before you go buying a new one or a new brush kit. Find a good electric motor shop. They should be able to fix it for around $60. PM me if you have any more questions. The shop i took mine to is in Rochester, Mn. It’s called T.E.C i’m sure you could ship it there. They had mine done in a week.
