Sturgeon and Musky fishing must smoke a little mother nature to each fish.

Going to Fort Meyers mid April and curious if anybody been fishing out of there and has a recommendation for a guide/charter? My interweb search brings up plenty to choose from but always nice to hear first hand experience. Would love to try for some tarpon but is that too early for them? Otherwise, just want to catch some fish.

I do carpet for a living and have done many boats. I would go 20oz its a bigger job then most think. the 16oz is standard on most boats the 20oz will be a nice up grade as long as hatches are not real tight even then edges can be trimmed for fit. Tooth picks from back side to mark screw and rivet holes are your friend.

Your on the right track when I mark fish on side scan try going back over with 2D to see if their kicking up silt. If you have spot lock on your TM it works well if you have a good wind.I think the russling of the anchor is good and put a bait close by. vertical rods are more sensitive I would loose the bobbers on the river. CPR I would never kill one for a meal saw so many being lifted by gills this year it made me sick no reason to ever put your hands inside gill plate.

Not all Bulldogs are created equal. I would return it. Look for very little wire hanging out the bottom were the hooks and split rings attach some have up to a inch of wire hanging out. I also have had far better luck with the UV dogs.

I saw a black alumacraft guide boat with a white johnson running up on plane through the Afton no wake zone on Tuesday morning. Anyone know what’s up with that?

I had a similar problem of high rev at start up. It was a torn fuel regulator diaphram.

I think I have exactly what you’re looking for. It’s a Taylor Made off a Lund 1850 Fisherman. I’m almost positive it fits the Rangers too.
