Nice Writeup MPLSPUG. It’s funny I met you down here by seeing BK’s Facebook post talking about Florida fishing. We can try to share on here some saltwater outings as I learned so much about fishing the Croix/Miss for Catfish and Walleye on this forum for my many years in MN.

Dang, I still hope to hit the Croix late next week. Hitting Mille Lacs tomorrow
October 20, 2018 at 10:42 am #1804867I just run an LX3 but saved quite a bit by just buying a Lithium 10AH battery. That was 160 for 2 batteries and charger. I use the other on my 788.
October 16, 2018 at 6:38 pm #1804164Thanks for the report Turk, might see you out there Thursday.
Did anyone get any reports from how the Hudson Walleye tourney went 10/13?
October 9, 2018 at 8:21 pm #1802585I suppose a few of you fishing the tourney Sat want an update I’d love to join but would just be donating to the locals.
We caught 23 fish, 7 species including 5 walleye/sauger. Mainly White Bass were biting but a ton of fish were on the graphs.
Got 2 quick sauger on #5 Jigging rap but the rest of the day all other ways worked when we found one that wanted to bite as we tried everything.
All this rain they have to be hungry soon? I might get back out Sat or Sun so please share your reports and let me know if any questions.
October 6, 2018 at 11:18 am #1801880Let me know if anyone has any Walleye reports.
Also is Beanies open for launching? No one will answer the phone or return my calls.
July 17, 2017 at 9:35 pm #1705051Thanks BK, always nice to see additional access to our waters!
I was down in Stillwater today and the people seem to be pretty excited for the new bridge to open for business!
December 21, 2016 at 7:13 pm #1658912Thanks Monti, I needed this info as well and will stop in to the Vex office to pickup an adapter.
October 12, 2016 at 11:44 am #1644577Looks like a nice day on the water! I hope to get on the river tomorrow.
You think Hudson area or Bluffs area would be better for Walleye tomorrow?
September 2, 2016 at 8:33 pm #1637447I fished 6-9:30 and it was a tad windy for me. Managed to get 2 healthy ones on a flat and missed another 3. Scrapped Lacs for a nearby lake today with the 10-20 South wind.
It was pretty sad that I was the only boat among any of the 7 mile area flats but I guess it was Thursday and more were smarter than I to avoid the waves on the mud.
I hope you guys can get some action in this weekend before the close. Please make sure to support our local businesses in the area.
September 1, 2016 at 11:23 am #1637200Didn’t anyone learn from the Xmas lake fiasco? Dump a bunch of chemicals in the lake and yet still didn’t eliminate every zeeb?
Lakeshore owners with the typical response: “Lets close the usuable access to taxpayers and waste taxpayer money dumping chemicals into public waters”.
September 1, 2016 at 10:45 am #1637183I’m packing to head up now. Fish until dark tonight and tomorrow all day with my cousins.
Haven’t fished it in 2 years so will give it a shot.
June 13, 2016 at 1:16 pm #1624224I haven’t been by but I wouldn’t see it to be a problem by then being such a busy park.
January 11, 2016 at 11:33 am #1591487It looks like both of you are using the Lazer auger bit? Do you know of options to be able to redrill holes in a shack?
December 22, 2013 at 6:54 pm #1373429Nice fish Glock!
Glad you found some in there. With 17′ deep, hopefully they should be pretty safe from winterkill.
December 14, 2013 at 6:10 pm #1371358My Oregon 400t was great until I dropped it in the ice hole today. You think it is magnetic so I can at least try to save my lakemaster chip if it is broke?
It is under my perm in 15′
January 28, 2013 at 11:29 pm #1135712Get well IDO crew. You by far have the best fishing show out there.
May 7, 2012 at 12:49 pm #1066195Thanks for the report. Do you just use 1/32 jigs and cast them towards shore and back or are you bobberring it?
May 7, 2012 at 12:43 pm #1066194Both are nice boats but I would look again at fiberglass boats.
Otherwise 5k is quite a bit of cash and can buy you some nice electronics and trolling motor if you go Alumacraft.
Good Luck
May 7, 2012 at 12:40 pm #1066191I bought a hardly used gas Weber from someone at work when my old Genesis was wearing out after 10 years or so.
I have an old school Weber charcoal only as well and you always find those at garage sales.

Get the Limit Creek Smoothie. Hands down the best rod under $100 and my preferred rod up to the $300 rods easily. Love them, it’s all I use.
I bought a medium Limit Creek and a carp or something broke the tip off on the river. Reminds me I need to have the bait shop fix it as where I bought it closed up. Since a dang fish broke it I don’t think I would recommend one.
April 16, 2012 at 4:58 am #1059232I wasted hours and hours on this with defective curling Organic shingles. I replaced with Owens Corning 30 years last year and I imagine they will not curl after 10 years.

Just to understand, this is a 100% beef product.
…that is well marinated in ammonia. You forgot to mention that part of the process.
Yep, check what else is using this process. Also the consumers need to understand the processes used to get 15-20 lbs more out of a whole beef. Now that lean meat will be used for dog food, etc.
Also one of the “Conglomerates” noted above uses Citric Acid and not Ammonia.
This is a smear campaign and will do nothing but force the stores to raise prices and kill even more cows than needed.
April 16, 2012 at 4:28 am #1059229I heard or read somewhere that these auto inflates may not even work in our cold waters here? I’m wondering if they are rated to a certain temp before I drop a bunch of cash.
Thanks, I need to buy a comfortable life vest so I wear it.
June 20, 2011 at 6:08 am #974432Glad you got it fixed Jason. I haven’t been around in awhile but what did you hit?
