We acquired a 2022 ST last week! It is certainly fun to drive, no shortage of acceleration and power! The technology is amazing, just hope I don’t have to repair it too often. Mileage is better than I expected – we got 26 with highway driving – in town is a different story. It is averaging around 23 for the first week of driving. Certainly happy so far.

I replaced all of our original wood framed windows with Hayfield vinyl windows around 8 years ago – couldn’t be happier with them. Easy to open, quality latches, and very little leakage in the winter. This is after we installed a Pella window around 12 years ago – the Pella leaks air almost as if it wasn’t there, from the day it was new!
August 27, 2016 at 8:00 am #1636113This is becoming a popular way to treat/infiltrate storm water runoff from city streets with funding programs available to construct. Generally I encourage this, as long as the city will be maintaining. City would typically have a plan for maintenance prior to constructing. Just like a traditional garden, weeds do grow and require maintenance. Plants selected will typically thicken over time and weeding becomes less, but still there. No watering is necessary! Other maintenance includes removing debris that washes in and addition of mulch. Rain gardens can be very attractive and an amenity if designed correctly and maintained. Distance from homes is typically far enough that water infiltration does not affect foundations.
July 23, 2016 at 9:19 pm #1630525Had this happen to a new boat last year after a few months of use. Ended up being one of the inner screws for the male plug connectors. Had to completely disassemble the plug to get to the screw – could see where it had worked loose, arced across and melted some plastic before completely losing contact. Has worked perfect since, not saying that is your issue, but one of those simple things that is not at the top of the list to check. Good luck!
April 1, 2015 at 8:36 pm #1529904I looked long and hard for a boat that would fit my fishing style – mostly casting for musky, bass and various walleye techniques on small to medium waters and while the Skeeter MX platform is good, I just didn’t feel it was right for me and ended up with an X190 – shows up in May – I am excited!! Not sure if I interpreted the comment right, but the X190 does come with a single axle trailer, at least mine will. Fitting in the garage is another story – I have a little modification project to finish this month!
April 7, 2014 at 7:27 pm #1402521I have had a BGE for a couple years, use it for everything, great for ribs, steaks, chicken, burgers, and the best pizza you will ever make! Even baked bread in it. Highly recommended, costly, but worth every penny and should last a lifetime.
May 23, 2013 at 10:15 pm #1173135I have owned a Tracker TV-18 for 12 years, great boat for the style of fishing I do. Boat is generally well made – have had no issues with it other that general use items that any boat would have. There are some things that could be improved, as with anything. I have been looking at new boats but have yet to find anything under $40K that is laid out as well or as fishable for me as my tracker – will be keeping it for a few more years. I have been especially impressed with the trailer – it is very well built and very easy to load on. Previously I had a Tracker TV-17 which had about the poorest trailer that could be made – significant upgrade with the TV-18. I haven’t looked much at the new ones to see if the quality has remained. I would not be a bit afraid of a new Tracker.
February 29, 2012 at 5:00 pm #1044549My 6 year old daughter gets this magazine and likes it, she reads it cover to cover by herself, but she reads a few levels above her age. My 12 year old daughter shows no interest in it. I would say it is a good magazine especially for children in 5-10 year old range.
May 25, 2009 at 3:21 am #778980Reetz is 5 miles south of Webster on Hwy. 25. Ramp is on southeast corner of lake just to the west of the first highway curve. The highway is the easterly lake shore. I’m headed to Webster in two weeks – let us know how you do.
March 15, 2006 at 1:39 am #430057Unfortunately, there is a lot of misunderstanding about this topic. This proposed action will do very little to reduce pollution in Iowa streams and rivers. One of the main intents of this is to clamp down on municipal wastewater treatment plants and require stricter discharge limits. This is all fine, but well over 95 percent of stream and river pollution is from agricultural sources. The IDNR has admitted this, but they have no control over agricultural practices, so believe they can impose their will on the cities, whom they do have control over. Many of these cities have relatively new treatment plants which do a very good job and discharge a safe effluent, however with the new discharge limits, these cities will be required to spend hundreds of thousands (or more) of dollars (our tax dollars) to upgrade their plants, all for little or no actual value to the aquatic life in the receiving streams. I am sure the poster of this thread has good intentions, but this proposal does not deserve our support. Instead, lets voice our opinions on the true source of the stream pollution and get some regulations on agricultural practices. I am as concerned about stream pollution as anyone, as I have caught thousands of smallmouth bass from the Cedar River and want to continue to do so for a very long time. This proposal by our state government is just not the answer.
January 20, 2006 at 7:01 pm #413434I would agree with the suspending jerk baits, also have caught fish on spinnerbaits worked slowly in the warmer sections of the backwaters/bays.
April 14, 2005 at 12:13 am #356710My 2001 Mercury 90 uses approximately the same. It seems like it is using a lot since the reservoir is relatively small and needs refilling often, but when you calculate it out, it is reasonable.
April 11, 2005 at 5:04 pm #356120One other thing to double check is that the wheels are balanced. I had a trailer with unbalanced wheels from the factory, the tires wore uneven, mostly cupping, I replaced them, made sure they were balanced and had no problems afterward.
March 11, 2005 at 6:22 pm #348972We attempted to get there last Sunday by boat but it was still ice covered for approx. 1000 feet below the spillway.
March 8, 2005 at 1:42 am #347882I have an interesting story/question concerning Lynxville. We put the boat in at the Gordon’s Bay landing, across from Falling Rock, at approximately 730am on Sunday. The parking lot was full already, so where to park? The obvious choice was the single car parking area south of the main lot. I, along with many others backed the trailer on the grass area with the truck on the hard surfacing – no damage done. When we got back to the landing to leave, we found a note on our windshield saying this was single car parking only. All of the vehicles appeared to have this. Not sure where this note came from, as it was handwritten. I hope it was no more than a joke, as where could a person have possibly parked a truck and trailer with that many people using the landing. I did notice where someone had parked off the entrance lane closer to the railroad tracks and made deep ruts through the mud, probably an allowable parking spot. I suppose next time I will have to park there and track mud all over the area if we can’t park in the open and unused single car parking. I have no problem paying the ramp fee, but there better be adequate parking without harrassment. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
December 1, 2004 at 12:54 am #329722Dave, I was on the float side. Very few boats out, I was surprised.
November 30, 2004 at 6:17 pm #329660I was at Lynxville on Sunday, caught a fair number of saugers, mostly small but had a limit in the 15″ – 16″ range, all on plastics, also a bonus 36.5″ northern.
November 11, 2004 at 6:13 pm #327241I just received a 31.5″ walleye replica from FiberTech. I am very impressed with the quality. It is as realistic as the real thing. Price was reasonable and delivery time less than 3 weeks. I would recommend them to anyone.
September 13, 2004 at 12:47 pm #320784Here is the photo of the release. Does anyone have a recommendation on a company to make a fiberglass repro?
August 4, 2004 at 3:04 am #315324Gunderburger at the Shanti in Gunder, excellent hash browns as well.
July 28, 2004 at 5:25 pm #314436I was on Pepin Monday and Tuesday looking for northerns. We found areas holding fish but the fish were not aggressively feeding. We had many short strikes, follows, etc. Biggest in the boat was 33″, had one close to the boat which was much larger, still a fun time.
