I cant wait for the ice show! I bought an LX7 from marine general last year. They gave me a sweet deal. Looking to get a lithium shuttle and striker ice jacket this year. Which vendors should I visit for these two items? I saw gander is selling last year striker jacket for like 150 bucks and the cheapest I saw for the lithium shuttle was 250. Should I pull the trigger or would I get a better deal at the show?

How’d you guys do? It’s been a tough bite for me this season.

I was a vexilar guy and when my unit bit the dust, I switched to the LX7. I got it at the st. Paul ice show this year. By far the greatest unit I’ve ever used. So many features, yet so easy to use. I was a little worried because I like to hole hop too. I’ve had no issues doing so with this unit and LOVE the bigger screen display.

I’ve been using the Jason Mitchell meatstick the last couple years. It’s my go to fishing rod for panfish. They just released a new model too!

It was my first time at the show and all I can say is wow!!! The sport of ice fishing is on the rise. Great deals everywhere.. I was looking for an lx7 and ended up getting one from marine general. Great people and got a sweet price! Cheapest offer I had from all vendors. Ended up getting it for $615 and got 2 t shirts, 1 sweatshirt, and 2 beanie caps free. Saved $200 bucks! I’ll be back next year..

I’m heading to the show on Saturday.. I was scared if I went Sunday, I’d be SOL.

I’m looking to either get a LX6S or LX7. I’m guessing they will be going like hot cakes. I’ll take my chances and try to score on one Sunday.

A few college buddies of mine were out fishing on a lake in Menomonie WI. The back bay of the main lake had 3 inches of ice.

I’m thinking about buying the Marcum Lx6. Anybody have any reviews on it?
