August 25, 2007 at 2:35 am #603214Ive read that in stained water a darker spinnerbait with allot of vibration and gold blades are good. as far as clear water, a good low vis line, and lighter colors w/chrome blades. Personaly i like booyah and strikeking spinners the most. Smaller muskie spinners also do well.
August 18, 2007 at 3:39 am #601080I am very happy for you, Congradulations!!!! A child is the best thing that can ever happen to you, they learn and grow so fast you can hardly keep up. just make sure that he/she learns how to catch some big ol walleye’s as soon as they can, and if the time is not right, go for some Largemouth Bass!!!!!!!
August 1, 2007 at 4:44 am #595944You are right about how nice this river can be, was out for about 7 hours a month ago, only caught a few sheepies but the scenery was great! saw some pretty nice girls out there too. im going to learn and fish this river extensively in the future. Have heard there are some nice wallys and saugers out there too. and once again, the views and nature all around you is quite beautifull. saw a couple of bald eagles out there!!! iwas pulling spinner rigs w/ cralers
August 1, 2007 at 3:29 am #595929buzzbaits are my absolute favorive bait to through! have caught at least 100 largemouth and quite a few smallies, as well as a few nice muskies and pike. double bladed, and single bladed- with clackers are my favorite. booyah makes a dam good buzzbait. even the cheap ones at fleet farm and small bait shops work!(if you run out of the good ones)
July 30, 2007 at 6:11 pm #595358i used to work at an automax and dealt with extended warranty companys frequently. most of them are a real pain to work with, and wont pay for alot of things. make sure you do some research before getting one.(they are a good thing to have- just be sure its the right company)
July 30, 2007 at 6:01 pm #595352a buddy of mine had one on his 1800 lund fisherman, and loved it. very quiet, and pushed him at an easy 40mph. he trusted it at many canada trips.

July 27, 2007 at 4:48 am #594520i have been a mechanic on and off for the last 7 years, and my dad has bean a mechanic for 30 years. i have never had any interest in buying any chrysler vehicle because of my experience. but if this is true, it would be hard not to buy a new 3/4 ton diesel pickup(or any other for that matter) a new chrysler. if they realy warranty everything, why not buy a pile of crap chrysler???
July 26, 2007 at 4:11 am #594084i know all about your problem. wether bass or panfishing, or muskies on small lakes, theres always some duma## setting a huge wake on you, 2-4 feet high water skiing or wake boarding. ive bean very tempted to throw a huge swimwizz(muskie bait) at them. and one of these days i will. those retards cant understand that some people enjoy being on the water and catching fish- of any class or size to impress there kids- mine is a sweet 2 year old, and is now scared of being thrown into the water because of what she calls a (big no-no) wave. you water sport people should stay on minnetonka and other skiing lakes!!!!!!!
