Yeah, I thought about going the used route, but I don’t think I will because I have fished a Livescope with a buddy that has one, so I know I will like it and am also a serious enough fisherman to buy one. I’d rather just “do it up right” the first time, so I don’t have to go back and upgrade later.

Thanks for the info on the battery as well.

    Thanks for more information

    Here’s my updated plan:

    1. Garmin Echomap UHD 93sv ($700)
    2. Livescope Transducer System with GLS 10 black box ($1700)
3.Summit CNC Machined HD Shuttle ($219)
    4. Summit Garmin Transducer Pole & Ice Mount Combo ($116)
    5.Amped Outdoors 20 AH or 32AH Lithium Battery ($159 vs $259)
    6. Summit Bag Large ($65)
    7.Summit Pole Holders ($20)

*May or May not get the shorter network adapter cable and power cord, I think the weight difference won’t be worth the extra cost for me, as other versions come with the LVS34/head unit

*Did decide as of right now to go with summit shuttle over ARC since they are cheaper and updated in durability

So the total comes out to $3079 before tax assuming I go with the nicer battery. About what I expected. I will be buying when I see deals of course.

“I bought everything new in Oct and im roughly 3100 all in (after discounts). This is with the 34, summit shuttle, bag, pole and an 18aph lithium battery. I did get the open water transducer for the 93sv so I think it was 1100 at scheels. So, yes your 3-3100 is accurate if you can find just the bare 93sv. Note: There was a 10% off deal going when I bought it so that saved me about 300 when I bought the 93sv and the livescope transducer/black box”

I will definitely be keeping an eye on all of the items and buying when there’s deals if I can. How do you like your summit shuttle? Have you had any problems with cracking/durability?

Also how difficult was it to assemble the pieces/parts/cables once you had them all? I’m not a super technical guy so just trying to gauge if it’s something I can do or just pay someone to assemble it for me…

    Thanks for the info –

I had not heard about the summits cracking. I like the way those ARCs look as well.

Do you have the LVS32 or 34 in your unit?
