I have run a 200 suzuki for 6 seasons. It is a strong motor and I have had zero problems with it.

We just spent five days on Namakan. Fishing was sporadic with most fish coming out of 22 to 30 feet of water. We did get a couple in shallow. We tried a number of presentations and it all seemed to be the same. We had two good days and three days where you couldn’t hardly buy a fish.

I have a 200 Suzuki on the back of an Alumacraft Tournament Sport 185. It’s also an 04, but this was my first year with it. I was very happy with the overall performance and would not hesitate to buy another. Extremely quiet, good hole shot, good overall speed. As noted above, will suck the gas at WOT.

Richard – What was the ECM module recall? Does that have anything to do with the tilt and trim?

I have used a tire cleaner on my seats before with pretty good luck. Might want to give that a try.

Thanks Renedy. You bring up some very true points. My last lab was one I bought from a family member because he was cheap. I loved that dog to death and he was a good hunter and family member, but he was not cheap in the end. He blew out his knee when he was five which required surgery, not to mention the blankets and carpet that were removed from his stomach. Thanks again for the input, it’s appreciated.

My buddy and I both have the same camera and were having the same problem. He added wire to his and bought a 6 volt tractor battery which he leaves on the ground underneath the camera. It has worked well for him.

I used this unit last year and loved it. If your not familiar with the Lowrance units, buy Doc Sampsons instructional DVD. It explains everything very well and sure beats trying to read the instruction manaul. I would also give this unit two thumbs up.

I have a black lab that is now nine and have went through the same thing. He has eaten more pairs of shoes then I care to think about, a blanket, and some living room carpet . All when he has been left loose in the house by himself. He has been a house dog all his life due to where we live, and I originally had a kennel inside for him. As he got bigger I felt bad keeping him in there for any length of time and let him roam the house when we were gone. Bad move!!

The next dog will definately have a kennel of his own which he will stay in whenever we are not home.

south east side rock piles were kicking out fish in about nine feet of water as of Monday. We caught several decent eyes (nothing real big) and a whole bunch of perch slip bobbering with leeches.
