• Stocking muskie yearlings in Minnetonka, White Bear and other metro lakes, dramatically improving survival rate and increasing numbers of catchable fish sooner.
• Working with the DNR to develop a new long-range muskie management plan to include new muskie lakes.
• Playing an intergal role in getting public support to stock Lake Pokegama, a new lake in the DNR muskie management program.
• Maintaining muskie rearing ponds with plans to add more to implement additional stocking goals.
• Hosting, in cooperation with the Fish-A-Thon organization, youth fishing outings in the Metro area.
• Providing a fishing home opener for several hundred veterans at the Minnesota Veterans Home.

I was boarded by the DNR on Vermilion a couple years ago and the CO told me I had to have the rope attached to my throwable, my throwable had to be out and visible and my fire extinquisher also had to be out and visible. At the time this wasn’t gin clear in the regs.

Sounds like most of the posters here are not keeping many fish. I wonder how many of you are targeting trophies and as such are you trolling? I wonder if this bill would get more momentum and actually have a chance of passing if it were revised to allow trolling with two lines, not live bait fishing with two lines. IMHO trollers are often catch and release fisherman primarily but I could be wrong.
