The reason for wanting the kicker would be for musky trolling keeping hours off the main. Fall time on Green Bay can start to accumulate a lot of hours trolling and I would rather them be on a kicker than main motor.
Guys that own this shack how much are you able to fit in the sled? Would a little buddy, flasher, milk crate, 20#propane tank all fit?

Reddog, what is that line high in the water column on your si picture?
Has anybody had any experience with these boats yet? I know the link that was posted talks about the issues they had with welds cracking. Wondering if anything changed with the newer models? Really like the layout of these boats but it sounds like they can’t handle bigger rougher water like Green Bay from what I’ve gathered.
Anyone using one of these in the northern wi/ Green Bay area? Curious how they are doing in all the slush if they sink down into it or are able to float on top.

If you wanted to eliminate the extra sled, would you be able to just sit in your x300 on a seat behind the snowdog and just go like that? Also I was thinking a hitch rack like this to put the snowdog on. That way you still have the entire truck bed to put all your gear in.

I’m planning on getting one of these for the upcoming season. Dilemma I am having is I want the bench seat but am worried about that version only being 600 denier. Does anyone have experience with both the 600 and 1200? Is it a pretty big difference?
People that are using a smitty sled are you just loading the flip over into the box of the truck on top of the smitty sled already?
