This will be used for smaller trout waters in Wester Wa. My Father in-law runs a fishing derby every year, the lakes are typically under 500 acres. Wind will pick up on those, but I have not seen fetch over 1-2ft.

This boat does have 4 enclosed areas that appear to be filled with foam… I don’t plan on testing it though. Although last yeah by brother in law flipped a 14’ duroboat… that was entertaining.

Everything works. I’m gonna slap some Camo wrap on the sides and rewire the batteries and it will be a nice little boat.

Saw the boat today. It was raining so I wasn’t on the boat very long. Minimal water came out so I think I am OK. The Honda started right up.

Seems like a nice small, multipurpose lake platform with the stability for some fly fishing.

    Appreciate the advice.

I am in the market for a lake boat for trout fishing in Easter WA lakes. This boat hit my radar, but I can find only very minimal information online, mostly about Lowe 1652 boats. Some online posts state that these were built in the same factory?

I only had 15 mins to look at the boat yesterday, lots of scratches but it looked solid. I now have a deposit on the boat and will be headed down to finalize the purchase next week. The seller will take me for a water test then. I am looking for some advice…

Boat comes with a Honda 30, bow mounted 55lb minn Kota and fish finder. I am told That the side console, and flooring, livewell were an option from the factory.

Does anyone have the catalogue from that era? The ones on Lunds site do not show the Jon boats.
It appears to have a track system rail, is this the same as the more current track systems?

will the 30 be enough for 3 adults? Anything else to look for? I come from fiberglass boats. I know this is welded and the reputation of Lund is strong.
