somebody tell Buckshot to post his hit shreaded goose recipe. It’s the real deal. If you like hot beef type sandwiches, you’ll like this.
October 10, 2013 at 9:31 pm #132658I have a Stihl FS460 with the ape hanger handlebars and the brush blade. The engine is a 4-stroke, but you need to mix gas. Wierd, but runs AWESOME and with a new blade it is a brush cutting machine!
I won it at a golf tournament in Edmonton, AB. I had to go to a local Canadian Tire (Canada’s Fleet Farm alternative) and buy tools in order to break it down into small enough pieces to fit inside my golf travel tote. Best and strangest item I ever took with me on a plane.
October 8, 2013 at 9:24 pm #132577I’ve never heard a deer complain about being too dead.
The first time I shot a 300 Ultra Mag, my face looked like I just stepped out of the ring with Mike Tyson in his prime. Make sure the scope allows for plenty of eye relief. If I had been shooting at a deer instead of a target, I would have had a hard time deciphering my own blood from that of the deer.
September 16, 2013 at 5:18 pm #1195187Also it is probably a good idea to store the boat with the tanks full. It leaves less room for condensation to form on the inside of the tank during those temperature changes.

You’d probably be at the grocery store.
Haha. If we have time I might even make it to bed, bath and beyond.
September 11, 2013 at 1:17 pm #131812I moved to Illinois just so I had a better chance at contributing to the contest.
September 9, 2013 at 4:20 pm #1193875I will be in full support of $15/hr for McD employees if I can go there five consective times without these issues:
1. Not being screwed at the drive thru.
2. Not having to correct my order at the counter.
3. Actually get a table that had been thoroughly cleaned. Not just wiped down with a wet rag that has been dropped on the floor.
4. Use a restroom that is tidy, clean and has a stock of necessary paper items.
5. Pull up to a restraunt where three employess are smoking outside the kitchen door complaining that they have to work a 6 hour shift.
6. See employees dressed in uniforms that need their pants pulled up or their shoes tied.
7. Be able to order anything I want on the breakfast menu at 10:20AM even though lunch starts at 10:30AM and there are no sausage patties left.September 9, 2013 at 3:42 pm #131733Quote:
Mallard, I remember you posting picture #3 last year You were grocery shopping or something instead of hunting
This is true and I suck!!! I was nearly in tears when I looked at the time and date of that picture last fall.
September 6, 2013 at 4:16 pm #131678Try and get the restrictive covenants removed from the deed prior to purchasing the property if possible. Of course the restrictions may be the reason it is selling soo cheap.
September 6, 2013 at 2:54 pm #131674I think I am going to go and pull my cameras this year because once I get a buck on camera, I never see it again. Either on film or on the hoof. All the bucks in the pictures showed up on film once and I never saw them again. They all appear to be alerted. Of course I hung them low and along a main corridor where they would be fairly easily seen. I really only have one spot to hunt anyway.

Best tires I have ever had are the Michelan LTX. I’ve had both the A/T’s and MS/2.
x2
Although I did just put on a set of E-Rated Nitto Grapplers on my powerstroke. They look sweet! My previous experiences with the Michelin LTX A/T were great and a better tire than the BF Goodrich TKO.
August 23, 2013 at 9:34 pm #131485You will probably benefit the most by going to your local seed house. Often times they have a mix of grasses for a specific region and uses. For your case I am sure they can steer you into a erosion control seed that will germinate in your area. If it is really steep and sandy, maybe you should consider some geotextiles and some stone/rock. Sorry for really being of no help.
August 22, 2013 at 1:40 am #1190847Just make sure to return the favor. Youngsters like that take a lot of time from both parents and regardless of how sweet and special, momma will need a break too. Planned events where she can have her time with HER friends without worrying about dad and baby goes a long ways.
My daughter is 4 now so I should take my own advice soon. I guess I did just get back from Ontario…
August 22, 2013 at 1:27 am #1190844I don’t know what would be more difficult. Finding a flyswatter or a rubber band around the house.
July 10, 2013 at 6:34 pm #1182641If your ever down that way let me know. We’re generally either sitting in Lithia Marina or anchored in three finger or Skull cove depending on our mood. I’ve been watching Steve’s reports too.. I think he is getting up river a little farther than I want to venture. I’ve pulled some rigs with crawlers and leeches on the 3 and 4 mile flats, but do it with caution.
The 12ft above summer pool is playing havoc on my daughter as well. We just can’t find and beaches to play on anymore.
July 10, 2013 at 3:55 pm #1182595It is good news that Illinois has finally seen the light on this subject. The paperwork dilemna will hold this up for years in my opinion. I purchased a boat last summer around the 4th of July and I have yet to recieve my registration stickers from the State of Illinois. I can’t imagine how long it will take to run through the conceal and carry paperwork.
I miss Minnesota!
June 21, 2013 at 12:52 pm #1179154I am thinking about leaving work right now to get some scatter raps!
June 20, 2013 at 3:29 pm #130806Thanks for the information guys. I am personally interested in shooting the new Browning A-5 in 3.5in. My father in-law is also in the market and is much pickier than I am. He is interested in comparing the Bennelli Legend with the Beretta A400 or anything else comparible to the Legend.
I just got to thinking that places allow you to shoot bows, test drive cars, demo ride atvs and snowmobiles, but didn’t know about shooting guns.
June 13, 2013 at 4:54 pm #1177675All I know is that my daughter loves when the DNR come over to our boat. The last two times she recieved a coupon for a free ice cream cone at DQ for wearing her PFD onboard. It has been part of her boating enjoyment.

Any of you do it on an I phone? I just looked again and myne comes up as $9.99. I will probably do it anyways, but just checking.
I have it and it is worth the $10 for sure. With the one app purchased on the iPhone, it also worked on my wife’s phone and two iPads. Just synch to your iTunes acct and you will app share your apple devices with the same ID.
Now if I could find a sonar app for the iPad to work with a Bluetooth xdcr I’d be set.
May 10, 2013 at 12:00 pm #1169845Gas has been that high down here in Illinois for soo long now that I am already used to it. I feel like I win if I can still find diesel at $4.09 a gallon.
