It was looped around the dock frame and hooked onto itself. Yeah he’s fine now

My family uses our atv winch to help pull the dock out at the cabin. About 3 or 4 years ago the cable snapped and shot the hook back at my father. He had to get 3 teeth replaced in his mouth. We have since replaced the cable with rope and haven’t had a issue since.

Brainerd area had anything from 4-9inches on the smaller lakes. I wouldn’t touch the big lakes like Gull or pelican until after this deep freeze

Last season I bought a Eskimo 949i. I haven’t looked back since. If I’m fishing with one other person we are able to set up and put the sled with all our gear in front of us in the hub house because of all the extra space. It helps keep everything warm and close by. If I am fishing with 2 or more people we can all fit very comfortably. Friends always commented on how much they liked the 2 large pockets sewn into the walls. They are perfect for throwing your gloves/hat or whatever you want close into. My hub is also super warm.

They run the new sleds so lean from the factory because of these emissions standards that I know a few guys went and turned up Their oil pumps a few clicks. It’s takes about hour to do and haven’t done it but then again I haven’t had any problems with my sled

I have a Aqua vu Mirco and finding my depth was hard at first but then I put red tape at 5 foot increments and blue every foot in between, it works really well. I also have a catch cover brand screw on “snake arm”for the camera that I clamp onto the inside of my hub. It works great

What kind of reel do you use on them and how is the overall durability of the rod?

Not sure what your break in plan is for your new sleds but I was told by a dealer to pour a quart of 2 stroke oil into the full gas tank for the first 100-200 miles. I also have a Polaris 600

I’ve got two lights and one med-light I love them and the reels are very good. Caught a 5 1/2 bass on my med light and that was a great fight

It’s a little more expensive but I purchased a Expedition brand case and really love it. I can fit 5 rods,my jig box, aqua vu micro and handheld depth finder in comfortably.

Funny you posted that picture. I did a night ride last year(only ride)and ended up following a wolf down the trail maybe a quarter mile before he ditched into cover. Only me and another guy in the group saw it but still very cool

The family cabin on horseshoe lake has anywhere from 4+ inches. More In the back bay on the east basin. Friend of mine had good luck back there last weekend. I had a couple good crappie/ pike spots last season. I hope this still work this year
