I buy Maggie and Mary’s chicken and dumpling soup mix, add stock, frozen pearl onions, and a part of a bag of rotisserie chicken chunks from Costco. Pretty good

I also keep a Mr Steak portable grill in my wheel house, because steak is life!

Note to self- add dimmer switch to Yetti exterior LEDs. Bask in approval of fellow fisherman and share beers with new friends that appreciate my dimmed LEDs.

    Boom…done.

Serious note- might be an easy mod to the existing switch panel. Simple dial dimmer tied into back of the switch. Will have to look into that one of these days.

Edit- second thought…All unnecessary. Don’t need LEDs for safety when amongst small city wheelhouses because all the other citioits will have theirs on. LEDs on for safety when all alone and no one will be around to complain anyway.

Yetti lights are more for sight lighting. I leave mine on when people in my group need to do stuff outside… I also leave them on if I head to the bar at night, makes locating the house easier. I mostly have them off though, wouldn’t waste time trying to dim them.

Go out of Trappers or Anderson pine point, about 16” of ice and plowed roads. Fishing was so so last weekend, I was in about 16’

I have a small tackle box with plastic cases, I picked these magnetic boards up at the ice fishing show and installed them in my wheel house. Figured this was better than having lures lay all over the place

Best purchase for me hands down my 10″ 40v Strikemaster, followed by my Yetti, then my TUCR rods.

Now, I have my eyes on a Marcum LX7 before next year

I gotnthe Strikmaster out to Red this past weekend, it worked flawlessly.. So good my buddy that was fishing with me wants to get one.

I had issues with other things, but the Strikemaster was flawless.

If your in St. Cloud swing over to Scheels. They sell tuc retail.

I was there today, they don’t have much left. Cabelas also has them

It can take a while if you order, I ordered 3 rods in early November and am still waiting….

I’m hoping tonight I can post that I scored big time on 3 Firehouse lighted tip-ups.

I bought one of those at the Blaine Ice show for $80, they are pretty nice. I will be getting a couple more myself.

$15 for the license, $18 for the tabs… Have a license plate, and still need my fishing license number in 2″ letters somewhere. MN is all about redundancy..

I bit the bullet and bought the Laveo dry flush… Spendy inserts, spendy toilet, but whatever…. Deuces only, in emergency situations windows open music up loud… I might even cut a hole in front of it

I buy 20# Dacron fly fishing line, each rattle reel has a different color so it is easier to untangle. Then just like Fish blood use a swivel and flour lead with hook

I’m putting a Pflueger President 25 on my commander as well, I grabbed a 30, but think that’s too big.

What is the benefit of the split grip? I am guessing increased sensitivity?

Good to know, I just got a Yetti myself. I will be sure to pack something along so I can cut them if needed.

Thanks for the replies, I just ordered 7 of the glow in the dark hole sleeves. After spending $600 on a dry flush toilet what’s another $200 )

I have a 9″ Jiffy that I am pretty happy with.. I just got a new Yetti this year and don’t want that smell in the house, that is why I went electric.

It is definitely nit picking on my part. I did go to Scheels again today to mess with the two options, I decided to keep my Strikemaster. The extra battery, and cost savings is well worth the minor gripe over the trigger system. I also like the more traditional grips of the Strikemaster over the iON

We bring ICE hole or Hot 100… If you catch a fish, everyone else takes a shot… If you set the hook and miss, you take a shot…

I also have a Nintendo Switch in the ice house for some Mario Kart action… We have yet to figure out a way to monetize or turn that into a drinking game
