Yes it’s nice to see the Whitetail in the yard in the fall.
I actually have them coming in my yard throughout the year.
One mama with two little ones as well as another mama with a single and when I’m in the backyard with the dog the little ones actually walk up curious if our dog is a new playmate.
They are so used to us being in the backyard it doesn’t bother them. We have seen various bucks somewhat substantial racks.
Just be careful not to give them that “candy” corn too late into the season as once they start switching over their diet it can be harmful cause bloat and rumen acidosis which can be deadly.
