I have tried many deep fat fryers and found them to be awkward, cumbersome, and used way too much oil. And they are a pain in the you-know-what to clean.

The Fry-Daddy is just the fryer and is very easy to clean. They also have a Fry-Baby which is a much smaller fryer.
