Running some #’s. 100,000 loan at 6% for 10 years is a payment of 1110.00 if he books 2 days at 800.00 a day thats 1600.00. That covers the loan and puts 490.00 exta into his pocket. My guess is he’s not only booking 2 days a month. Not that hard to make it work for him.
I have heard some weekends he is running 6-8 guide bears
December 20, 2024 at 2:45 pm #2306131I have done this for the past few years and as others have said, there is no way I would go back to buying store bought beef. Yes, the upfront costs is higher, but in the end for the quality standpoint it is a no brainer. One has to look at the price per pound, sure the burger might be a few cents more, but your also getting your roasts, t-bones, and ribeyes for far less than what you pay in a store
December 20, 2024 at 8:33 am #2306047Most diesel is not blended anymore. Most diesel uses a chemical additive to stop jelling. In severe cold climates (Canada, Alaska, very north US States) additive and #1 is used to stop jelling.
What? I would have farmers and truckers screaming at me if I didnt have straight #1 fuel and at least a 50/50 mix in our tanks at the COOP. This is in central MN and NE SD. Maybe its different down there. Unless things have changed in the last 5 years since I have done this
December 19, 2024 at 3:33 pm #2305992I think he’s talking about the summer/winter blend in unleaded.
That changes by Oct 1 to the winter blend and back to the summer one by May 1. There’s quite often shutdowns for maintenance at refineries during that time period too. The summer blend has an additive added to it so it doesn’t evaporate I think.
No…. Im talking about the Diesel blends. Not sure when everyone switched to adding #1 into the blend
December 5, 2024 at 9:03 am #2303139Not if it burns your house down… or worse.
They are brand new never been used batteries. Im sure the mark up on these things is astronomical with mostly all brands coming out of the exact same factory
December 4, 2024 at 4:35 pm #2303059I bought one from here and never had a problem. Basically they are brand name lithium’s with the stickers removed. Id say the 12v 30AH is worth the $40 gamble
November 25, 2024 at 11:42 am #2301312Quite a bit of snow there too!
This was next to a slough that got got drifted in a little bit, so its rather deceiving. Most of the field just had a dusting and enough to make things somewhat white
November 25, 2024 at 10:18 am #2301287Here is a good one from SD. Had him on Trail camera this summer and had him as one of the hit listers. Fun to connect with him

November 15, 2024 at 8:40 am #2299343Im going to be in the market for a new bow this winter/spring. Have taken a 10 year hiatus from bow hunting with the business of life but excited to get back in the game. I know Matthews has a big following, but what are you guys having success with? Hoyt or Bowtech are probably going to be at the top of my list
November 12, 2024 at 3:51 pm #2298837HAs anyone tried one of their products in the past? I am looking for a new shuttle this winter without breaking the bank. This looks simple and clean. Any recomedentions on others?
November 7, 2024 at 4:10 pm #2298093I haven’t gotten a pic today. First time that’s happened in a while.
Good luck.Gotta remember cameras only tell 1/2 the story of what is really going on… This time of year its probably more like 20% of the story. Out here in the open country of SD the rut is just about full swing and between my 5 cell cams I have 1 that has gotten pics everyday. The other ones havent had anything for 2 weeks but I know there is deer around
November 4, 2024 at 8:33 am #2297310The old farmer isn’t to happy that what he gave the church for free they just sold for a profit,
A church is a business. How do people not realize this
October 22, 2024 at 9:32 am #2295257Being in the grain industry, this is a pain honestly.
The best thing would be to talk to the people in the scale/probe shack and have them save the samples for you and put them in a a big trash can that you can then just put in your pick up. I laugh at the bagged stuff in stores. 50 lbs for $12. A bushel of corn is 56 pounds and currently getting sold for 3.75I guess if an elevator in the area has a ground pile that would be easiest. And just scoop it yourself
October 18, 2024 at 12:05 pm #2294670What are your thoughts? I’ve only ever been around the Mega Live. Have you compared the LVS32 and LVS34? Worth the extra price for ice fishing?
Thanks! For ice fishing no its not worth it
October 17, 2024 at 2:25 pm #2294571Big bucks , big busted woman and big money make some guys do some real messed up stuff.
What you talkin about Willis?
[/quote]October 9, 2024 at 9:31 am #2293011I have customers who could pay their current premiums for 100 years and the company will never get back what they paid out in claims. Far to many people these days who have collected more on insurance than they have ever or will ever pay in premiums.
Wow, I need to start making more claims if that’s the case
October 9, 2024 at 8:17 am #2292991Question… Do you have to have insurance if you own your home out-right? In the upper midwest, besides the random hail on the roof or the very small chance of a tornado. Im guessing one would be better off not having insurance and investing their premium money in the market.
Just a thought, I honestly dont know the answerOctober 7, 2024 at 9:03 am #2292667Jake you are dang lucky and must go through a lot of fuel because it’s terrible for small engines. I hope you replace your fuel water separator frequently.
I guess I mow my lawn 1-2 times a week and then just run sea foam threw it at the end of summer. Have never touched the water separator. Hell, I havent even changed the oil or added any in my lawnmower since I bought it 10 years ago. Granted it just a cheap push mower but still
October 4, 2024 at 2:25 pm #2292351WHo runs ethanol in any outboard or small engine is a MORON. Non-oxy all the way.
I have been running it in my small engines for the better part of 10 years now and haven’t had a single problem
September 26, 2024 at 2:17 pm #2290884My cousins is currently in vet school at Iowa State. One of the vets she had write her a letter of recommendation to get into school told her she would be way better off just being a doctor or surgeon. Its way easier and way better pay to go to med school.
September 12, 2024 at 8:56 am #2289041I had the IT at work give me a 20′ ethernet cord to connect my 106sv units at my console in my tiller to my bow units and have never had a problem.
Joe is right, I dabbled with the pole in the boat for 2 years and this winter I will be upgrading to an ultrex and mounting my livescope ducer on that. It got to be to much with the pole and going hands free will be greatAugust 26, 2024 at 2:19 pm #2286908I had a 01 80hp Yamaha that had carbs. Just drained them at the end of the season, fogged the engine and the thing was bullet proof. The 100 would be pretty much the same. The only problem I did have (which was pretty common) was that my voltage regulator went out and fried my wiring harness. I would replace the voltage meter if its the original and you should be good to go
August 22, 2024 at 10:06 am #2286519Here are some updates from some of the bucks this summer. Pretty much all fully grown now and will start shedding velvet in the next few weeks. Not overly excited about anything, havent seen anything aobve the 160″ mark
