March 9, 2016 at 10:18 am #1605417Testimonies have been pouring in as of late and the news is absolutely astounding! After being represented at the Bassmaster Classic this weekend, two gentlemen shared their walleye catches of a lifetime!
One is from Shelbyville, IL where fishing a spillway, much like Red Wing. He shared that he was using the baitfish and garlic sticks and catching walleye so consistently that others were asking him what he was doing.
Another is from Oklahoma where he just caught a lake record on Lake Carl Blackwell with a 6.1 lb walleye sporting a 15 inch girth and 24 1/16″ long. The fishing in Minnesota is heating up on the boundary water areas. Help increase your catch rates!

May 12, 2015 at 10:02 pm #1544007Great post! Had similar experience in Minnesota for the opener throwing a jerkbait. My buddy said there’s no way I would catch any walleye on a jerkbait. After the third one, he tied one on. Great fishing all day with the jerkbait…small and largemouth, pike, walleye, and even a little musky. All on a megabass in the perch pattern smothered in some fish attractant.

April 9, 2015 at 11:32 pm #1532959Drove over there this last Saturday. It is open and you can get to it from 101 coming from the south. Construction signs still say road closed, but it’s not blocked off until the bridge. Can also access it coming by way of Libbs Lake roads. Hope it stays open all season.
