Wait a minute here! Red lake has very FEW launches on it and that lake wasnt destroyed by fishing deep hooking just purely the damn nets, same as what these damn nets are doing in mille lacs now. Wow just wow stop the damn netting!

The heavier 5/16 ounce spoon might work well, in areas with light current.

I would really give the VS385C, a look before you get the vs385. VS385C has sonys top of the line optics super had II. yes it a little more spendy but worth it. I bought the VS 385 during early ice this winter, and quickly returned it for the VS385C. just my two cents.

I fished mille lacs last weekend, we used sucker minnows all weekend. Not the size youre asking about though they where in the 3 to 4 inch range and thats all i could get fish on all weekend. they didnt even look at our fat heads.

I’m willing to listen to anyone first off…but I have a question.

What species is endangered because of lead used fishing?

I know a couple years ago a member posted a video of an eagle that had lead poisoning it was said, but there are more eagles, peregrine falcons, retailed hawks. loons pelicans and owls then I’ve seen in my life…right now, while more people are fishing with lead then ever before.

For our economy, it might be better to ban tungsten?

    X 1000, well put BK!

You could buy a marcum, and try it out. Most retailers give you 14 day return policy. I purchsed Marcum V385C this year and i love it!
