I fish Lake Francis Case twice a year, earliest was end of February, all the way to end of April. Really good fishing. Earlier for bigger ones. I’d like to try the mid summer bite trolling the tree tops

I have long rods and have used in-line planers. This year to get 6 rods going with 3 people in the boat either in SoDak or down on P4 I’m going to make a Planer Mast. I think it’ll make more sincefor the 6 rod times. when running 3 or last year 4 out in SoDak in-line planers worked just fine and are easy to set up as long as you have the rod holders. Thats my $0.02

It’s catch and release now in the grand scheme of things. Think of how many bigs one catches to keepers. There is a great number of large females to the males. meaning a bunch of eggs not get fertilized. They need that number closer together.

Yeah people suck sorry to hear. Should spray paint it pink sticks out and then would be easy to spot! At least it’s not $5000.00 worth of stuff like I had taken from me two years ago on Mille Lacs. Yes I was to trusting also but Nobody should be going through somebody’s truck without permission.

It was at the gas station on 47 south side of the lake. I filled up the truck and topped off the boat. When I went in the station to pay and drop the kids off at the pool. Thanks to tad and his extra rods we still got to fish. Rods and reels now replaced. So if you know of anyone that needs equipment I’ll be up tuesday morning. Lol

We caught fish leading up to the red doors tournament but snaked bit during it’s ok had some to weigh for a first one.

It’s just like the pike or ski’s that hit some of the little stuff I haul in. We had a nice pike on when I was in the red door tournament. Not a keeper lol

There is fish everywhere! I haven’tmade it out to the flats since opener, because the gravel has been great to me! I was up there Tuesday and I wasn’t sure what was going to happen after all those storms. We managed 18 fish between 2 of us in just under 8 hours. We got 3 box fish, most fish were 22 inch cookie cutter.
