I put 5 on each bunk of mine…first time i loaded…drove boat right up to winch…shut motor off…walk to the front of the boat and the boat slides all the way off the trailer…luckily nobody behind me…they work too well and be careful the first time!
Just some food for thought…say I had 15 bluegill in MN and the WI CO issued me a ticket and I would decide to fight it in court..where would the court take place? If it was in WI the limit is 25.Just needs to be an easier way and too many loopholes on the same waters.
I run a 19 michigan ballistic stainless on my 50 etec. On the back of a polarkraft 1680 that weighs 700 and some change. I top out at 39 downriver and 35 up river. rpm’s are 5600 wot. I think you could pitch up a fair amount and gain some top end. Hope this helps.
Sure hope you’re right Jake…heading out tom. night to hunt Sat. thru Fri. in the Mcclusky area. Anyone have have any pointers? Never done much of the field hunting. Thanks.
We’re thinking of leaving the weekend before the deer opener and hunting through the next weekend. I’ve been out there 3 times and have seen a handful of duck hunters…I know there’s not alot of trees out there so I guess I was just curious if they hunted the grassy fields hard or if deer hunting was just the thing to do..like it is here.. at that time in general.
I have a 1680 Polarkraft with a 55# powerdrive…as long as you’re not spending all day in heavy current…it has plenty of snap to get around. And the battery lasts most of the day as long as you get a big battery.(size 29 or bigger)
I have 50 hp e-tec. Went from the 17 alum. to a 19 ss. It kept me in the right rpm range and I gained almost 6 mph. I think I could go to a 21 but don’t want to lose hole shot.
I shot a double banded drake mallard Oct.9 in La crosse. Hatched in 2009 in Marathon county Wis. I guess a question I never asked was why a yearling was double banded? No colred band…just two silver leg bands.
I asked a wisconsin warden this question this summer. I have a MN licsense and was told that I can have 25 blugill as long as I stay on the WI side. If I were to go across the buoys to the MN side I can only have 10 regardless if they were caught on the WI side.
