I agree with you Gerry, that perch pattern has been really good for me as well for walleyes in clear water. Overall, the Tingler spoons have been outstanding compared to other baits we have tried this year.

James, I am interested in the trigger as well. Have tried a lot of things, but have not found anything that was obvious to get the bite. And for the up-sizing of the hook, do you recommend just one size up?

    Thanks.

This was the first time running it. Strikemaster told me to clean out carb bowl as something from manufacturering may have gotten in there through gas tank/line. Frustrating on new equipment to say the least.

I will check the fuel pickup. Good idea.

One thing I did notice when I went to run it again was that when it is laying on ground, it runs great. As soon as it gets stood up, it is not running as well.

It wasn’t a warm up issue. I was doing break in of auger and it had already run for 6-7 minutes by then. I will look at the idle speed screw and see if that helps.

    Thanks for responding.

For shallow cranks, what do you typically use? Thundersticks and Husky Jerks? Or shad raps? Or does it not really matter. I am new to trolling crankbaits and don’t have many….yet.
