Great hat, my shades clear the brim even with quite a bit of cup. My new favorite.
November 30, 2013 at 3:20 pm #1367667Walked out on my pond a bit spud goes through in one hit, no fishing for me. Snow on top of the little ice we did have not good.
November 23, 2013 at 9:49 am #1366083Google your reel type/make for specifics. I use the standard oil that came with them. Most spinning reels have an access port to add a drop, lube the bail, wipe down, loosen drag to store. Most bait casters remove reel handle (tool came with reel) and remove drag wheel to expose bearing for a drop of lube. Remove spool tension knob, usually a spring underneath careful not to loose and lube bearing under. Remove non reel side cover and lube bearing. Lube both sides of worm gear and turn a few cranks. Loosen drag and tension for storage and wipe down. Takes me about an hour for 4 spinning and 10 baitcasters.
September 24, 2013 at 12:02 am #1196421Just bought a box, ate one thought the same. Ate another to verify, still wasn’t sure. Ate one more and almost instantly had gut rot. Yup, they are the same.
June 11, 2013 at 4:11 pm #1177108I do not have the HD version but have updated, not much different for what I use, no negative effects.
When I have issues with the unit locking on I change the lower depth setting from auto to 10 or 15 ft. If you have sonar only screen on hit menu once and it should show up. Cursor over to adjust depth setting. I also like this as it keeps from changing the scaling automatically and I know how deep it is with a glance vs reading numbers.
April 19, 2013 at 10:12 pm #1164094Just drove by the rock river same. Looks like 2008. Boat landing is under there somewhere.
April 8, 2013 at 12:19 am #1160273Pic of the smallest of the three, almost a keeper. All of the fish were super stout.
April 7, 2013 at 11:12 pm #1160247Not too many people out in am, must be cause it was frigid…. Fished from 7a-12p caught 3. One just over 20″ and two around 25″, did not get a good measure as bump board only goes to 19″. Water temp between 37 and 38 most of morning. Caught all fish in straights just downstream from dam pond area. Small shallow current breaks produced all fish on charteuese rings. Could not buy a bite on other plastic or colors. Only saw one other sauger caught where lake delton blew out, guys were vert jigging minnows. Had to quit when my lab was shivvering, by the time we got home sun was out. Go figure. I’ll b back!
January 6, 2013 at 4:48 pm #1127403North or South end? Drove by the lake yesterday on the Drumlin when snowmobiling, quite a few people out on the lake. Planning to hit it next weekend, probably be an ice rink with warm weather and rain forecast.
December 10, 2012 at 1:02 am #1119028Must Have: Fueling Access Doors, Multiple In floor tie loops, spare tire mount and tire inside, led lights in/out. Lots of nice trailers out there, always had tritons myself, but never a v-nose.

September 10, 2012 at 12:14 am #1097570Waste of time and money…But good luck. Tried it last year I fish outside of the hut too much.
August 10, 2012 at 7:08 pm #1091439Sign me up for one. Finally the perfect craft for bago and the bay. Any pictures of the cockpit and seating arrangement.
March 4, 2012 at 11:11 am #1045823Water temp means nothing when you are unconscious, or have been run over repeatedly by your own craft due to not wearing kill tether. As much time as all of us spend on the water, we will likely encounter a situation once in our lifetime where these items will prolong it. Make it a habit to at least wear on plane, and work towards wearing it all of the time. Glad to hear you guys are ok, reading stuff like that puts a knot in my stomach.
February 17, 2012 at 1:45 am #10399483ft of 20lb florocarbon for pike, or 10lb floro for eyes. It seems light to many, but for some reason my flags go up more than others I fish with.
February 15, 2012 at 12:05 am #1038967Had mine out for about 40 hours, new to me this winter. Addicting is a good word for it. Unbelievable tool for fishing cold front fish, as I experienced last weekend.
February 5, 2012 at 11:58 pm #1035726Match the hatch. I do like white if sight fishing, helps to put the bait on the spot.
February 5, 2012 at 11:56 pm #1035724Suprised I’m still awake the whole thing has been a sleeper even the commercials. Good thing for my good ole Sunday standbye of my ipad and fishing websites.
Going to sure miss the NFL until next year.
February 5, 2012 at 7:07 pm #1035633Agreed on mapping with internal antenna. Would finally sell the vex for that.
