Hunters Point has a big cabin that will fit up to twelve people.

Is it possible we’ll see extra markers/buoys on the structure this year because of the lake being so low?

I’m not sure if this is a helpful hint or not…because it’s kinda common sense: After I open the seal on a Gulp bag, after closing the best I can using the ziploc type thing on the bag, I will also put all open Gulp bags into a Ziploc bag and that will usually take care of any air that might seep through. It seems to work as I have Gulp that is over a year old and still good.

I think that One of Tony’s captains will be killed by NY is the next couple episodes(Christopher??). Tony and Bobby’s fued isn’t over yet, and Junior will die. These things have to happen. I don’t know if NY has the guts to kill Tony, but that would certainly end the series. I just can’t imagine that is how it would end! I also think the ducks to make an appearence before it’s all over!

My .02. Enjoy the last eight!

    Hey Critical-

Is Calais Flat called something else in other circles? I’ve never heard of it. Thanks!

By the way, great looking eaters!

I’m bringing a few guys up for the event. Quick question: the rules state that the perch has to be “alive”. Does that mean swimming in a bucket? If so, I would imagine it is recommended that if you do catch one that you might think will place, you should run it up to the weigh station? Thanks guys.

I know my group of 14 guys are bringing 7-8 ATV’s this weekend. Better to be prepared than not be able to hit that hot mud flat bite!

I could not agree with you more Derek. I was also there last weekend, and despite how busy they were they took very good care of me. I saw you a couple times, but was never able to make it over to say hi. How’d the perch fishing go Sunday? I did pretty well on Saturday on “the spot”…if you know what I’m saying.

Prince’s does have everything. I try to stop there when I’m heading up…nice guys. I also agree with Derek on the glo-devils…I used the orange/chartuse(sp?) pattern and that worked as well last weekend.

    Thanks Ripper!
Well…I guess you never know, but hopefully I’ll be on the lake or in the bar! I’ve used his place for the past 3 openers, and have had pretty good luck all 3 years!

I’m kind of new to the site, but I’ll be out of Hunters staying in a fellow IDA member’s ice house. Good luck to all, and please be safe!

By the way…will that bell be ringing in the bar at all tonight/tomorrow??
