I just saw a rescue truck on the Rogers lake cam this morning around 1100am. Following that about 10 different groups leaving the ice, assuming they shutdown the access as no other cars in the parking lot.

Here is the webcam link if anyone is wondering how things are looking at Rogers access. http://rogersonred.com/web-cam/

I believe that link needs to be used in Firefox or Safari in order to load.

I just gave that a try went for a drive and worked great. Seems I likely got in the bad habit of zooming to location then never re-selecting the icon as you mentioned, and expected it to repopulate on its own when moving. Good to go now thanks again for the help!

So I have been using the app for a few years now and the one thing that I have not figured out is how to keep the location icon centered when traveling? So basically when on the lake and the icon moves out of view, is there a setting that will allow the screen to continue following instead of manually selecting the icon to recenter? Thanks for the help!

    No worries tmyboy2001,
Personally I tend to use braid when its A) no wind and fairly warm outside or B) inside a heated house as I find the braid to collect water and tend to freeze up quicker than mono. I have used with mono leader under a swivel but at that point I kind of feel its defeating the purpose if you want strong hook sets with little stretch. Totally agree with bronzbak in the fewer swing and misses with the braid.

I will for sure be trying the Suffix lines as I have not really given them a chance when it comes to hard water fishing. Thank you for the input I am sure these recommendations will improve the ice season.
