    LMBass can grow to a decent size even in a farm pond, so if it’s got the feed – bait they may prosper. They are also pretty hardy. Pike usually need more water to move about in to take off, dought if they do well. How deep is the pond? Is it spring feed, that would help?

    Its fed from storm drains across the neighborhood and it is 28 feet deep.

    How deep is it? Maybe winterkill is the answer instead of fishing advice.

    I’d agree, unless its spring fed and depending where you live might have had a harsh winter. Either way being it’s so small I’d think if you spent couple hours tossing out different baits you’d be able to cover the whole thing in short order.

    The pond has a depth of 29.5 feet at its deepest and is shaped like a bowl but a more gradual slope. And it has a good amount of below surface vegeation but not that much on surface.
