Lucky that the super bowl rings are made in Minnesota at Jostens, that way the Vikes get to see them before they are sent too the champs.

Make sure you check regulations for having anything in the way of drivers view. I was stopped this year, officer said it could’nt be on windshield!! I moved mine to the drivers side window……….no ticket just warning! Lucky..

I like the FRABIL spring bobbers and rods,I purchased rods first. This year I purchased the separate springs and converted six more old rods.I had alittle trouble threading line thru but came up with a way to overcome it. My eyes are getting old.

Scott, would that be the same on the VS560. ie. not showing 100% for charge with a fresh battery, because of unit having to be on for it to show power reading?

I purchased a 560 this past spring, it is much better than my friends aqua-view quad for picture quality at night. We compared them on 2 occasions side by side at night out of his boat on lake francis in southern MN. Cant wait to use it on the ice.

It still had a good turn rate provided you let the auger decided on feed rate as opposed to leaning on the handles. I dont think we could have drilled maybe one more hole without having to recharge.Sharp blades are one of the keys for ALL augers, but with electrics its a must.

I have the older model 8″ w\o the rechargable battery, being able to drill holes inside wheelhouse w/o having to open windows & door was my reason for buying electric. Must have good blades. On a trip to Red last Feb. a friend brought the new style rechargable he got for x-mas along and we decided to give it a test. He cut all eight holes in my house, ice was 36″+, would a gas auger have been faster? YES,but the elec. rechargable did cut those eight holes. Hope this gives you an idea for comparison.

Hey,Scott. Good to see your reports. Gives me something to look forward to reading, I’m broke down with a broken leg right now. Look forward to fishing in Feb. on Red. Talked to a friend who was on a few of the Faribault area lakes this past weekend.Approach all lakes with extreme CAUTION. Most ice reported from 4″ to 6″,slush pockets under snow with 1″-2″ water, followed by 1″-3″of ice.Be CAREFUL.
