for the record due to work schedules i ice fish more in 3 months than all other fishing in 9, and i fish alot in the 9 so my augers have most definitely been through the “ringer” Pat. thus meaning i know a thing or two as well, and also that i go ICE fishing more in a couple weeks than you do all year, maybe even more than james.

last time i checked this is still America. you can go to the ice fishing extravaganza in brainerd and set up right in the middle of the group and fish if your not in the tournament. wouldnt be very smart but you can.

i would probably say/think the same if they were paying me. or they gave me a free auger or two every year.

deer get sick just like people. colds, cancer, disease, this happens to all mammals. cwd has been around forever. if you shoot a sick lookin deer, dont eat it. and as people should already be doing, cook venison thourougly. you can eat a turd if you cook it right.

seems like ive read alot about problems with the strikemasters, more than any other brand anyway. my opinion, a $500 auger should work flawlessly for years and years, my eskimos have. and for that price i should get a happy ending after each outing!!

10s are nice, dang near open water fishing. i went with the 8. plenty big enough for big fish. i have seen HUGE pike come thru 6 inch holes before though.

try drinking a 12 pack when your out there or better yet bring a flask of whiskey or something. that’ll keep ya warm. or at least make you think your warm.

ok facebook im sure has its advantages, especially for retailers. why not advertise to 90% of the population? but i can email just the same without picking up a phone to people in other states without creating and posting a profile of my life online. as for being alot like this site, sort of. at least on this site you can learn a thing or two and/or help someone out. i dont social network because i see/talk to the people i want to regularly, and if i dont see one of my “facebook friends” at least a time or two throughout the year, they probably dont matter too much to me anyway so whats the point. i just think it is stupid because 85% of people on there feel the need to broadcast their whole lives every 5 minutes. im sorry but i dont need to know that u just went number 2 and now your watching tv. are you that great that everyone should know or want to know what u r doing every waking moment? the guy whose safe got stolen pry told the whole world on facebook that he was off to sunny florida for a week and the dates leaving and returning. dont get mad mossydan i feel for your guy, just an example of ONE of the ways facebook could ruin your life.

about time. theres ice on the lakes but its not the ice age! if u r looking for great coverage verizon is where u want to be. little pricey but the best out there. wife has a sprint account, they are terrible, texts come an hour later, calls not received sometimes even when called ten times. phone just doesnt ring, then u get a voicemail an hour later. no at&t or t mobile around me so i couldnt tell ya about them. my bro has the walmart thing for 50 bucks a month with no contract, i think it is on the verizon network also which is a plus. seems to like it. i think that is the way to go will definatly switch to that when contract is up. 50 is way better than 85 that paying now. hope that helps.
