Yes I did end up catching him, he looked bigger on camera unfortunately. That is a very cool video there too. Hopefully mine will work that will at night. I am using the 825sd.

I know a little bit of ice has formed around the shore, but not much. It is roughly 3200 acres but no major inlets to speak of. It is part of a chain of lakes all within 10 minutes driving distance of one another. The largest being 5000 acres. There is very little current to speak of as well.
