We just got back on Friday. There was 10-12” on the main lake where we fished. Right out from woodlands there was 8 earlier in the wk. I’m guessin with the awesome forecast that there will be some ice made this wk

There’s always a few bad apples that ruin it for everyone. I live 10 minutes from the ramp and have fished everyday the last wk. all the locals point the finger at the out of state guys. But nobody mentions all the local boats with 4-5 people in em. I think everyone seen this coming. Too bad

I fish a lot of super clear water. Seen a few times that I was catching fish with clear leader and my buddy wasn’t gettin a bite. Switched rods and then I wasn’t getting a bite. Hi vis yellow and blue are out of my leader choices. I think you can get away with it in dirty or stained water

I use the guardian. Super easy to get around in. I do a lot of hole hopping and it is plenty warm enough even on the sub zero days. I also have a climate suit that is way to warm for my style of fishing. I’m not one to sit and wait for fish. So if you are constantly on the move, I would definitely go with the guardian.
