I just googled it, this isn’t the same, this one appears to be a UV light for hardening fly tying glues/resins…
I’m thinking they dont make them anymore or maybe you’d need to check a camera place… ?????

RW, I purchased mine at Thornes several years ago, I dont know if they still carry them but did see the new version online…
The glow rigs don’t work the best. I used to have a single flash strobe light that was the bomb. If I could find another one I would buy 3 in a second. They have not been available for years and I did have a thread trying to find another one a couple of years ago. Something similar would be nice to find.
I have the same one, purchased it at Thorne Bros, They are awesome, I think they changed the design but the brand is Loon Outdoors…
I’ve seen the new version online….
First Al, now James… Dang…
You will be missed but I wish you and crew the best!!
Going on my 4th year of Korkers 1200, with all the deeper slush this year I may try the Neoarctics next year….
I would follow the manufacters recommendation for chargers and charging…
I purchsed my NORSK at the local farm anf fleet store where the employyess wear red shirts,,,
I switched to lithium when the Dakota Batteries came out, there was a group buy here at IDO in-which I participated
Definately worth it, especially with the NORSK, they are even lighter in weight than the Dakota…
The rods I make are so sensitive that I can feel the fish fart. I don’t have good enough electronics to see them poop. I am interested in the findings.
Often wondered why the hole became effervescent after catching a few crappy’s…
Me too…
I’m guessing evryone wants Garmin, HummingBird, or the newer Vex models….:?::?::?:
I had to drive by Scheels on my way to work this morning so I stopped to check out both the 28 and 30, low and behold they were having an in-store over-stock special on the 30, 580 plus tax… so I bought one with my xmas gift cards!!… Thanks to everyone for your comments and assistance regarding my question… Have a Great rest of season!!
Tight Lines…
I have a a couple20’s and an 8, but love my Garmin’s. Price isn’t really any different going from a 30 to a 73cv echo map uhd, or a helix. But you can’t go wrong with the tried and true vexilar, I won’t ever not have one.
Which Garmin did you have, I sort of looked at those early in the season…
Does anyone use the handheld sonars, I think Vexilar made one, looked like a yellow flash light…
I like the Striker Duck Blind suit but also have the Strikemaster Pro for really cold days…
I also got to use the Fish Usa 25% Off code last Friday on the Evolution. Got the 42″ Medium Fast Carbon. Missed out the last couple years on those rods because they seemed to be always sold out. Are they still made in the USA?
I believe they are made in Bemidji by the original Thorne Brothers, hence Two Brothers…
I have several of them bot 2B and Elliot… my fave is the Odessey…

Weight for today’s shacks is so much more a function of the sh** everyone drags along versus the shack itself. Large propane tanks, 10 rods to target 1 or 2 species, a few tip-ups “just in case”, the biggest buddy heater that can cook the entire little shack, a comfy chair, the 3 gallons of water per scoop of minnows, a livescope bundle, food, etc, etc.you forgot the auger, my backup flasher just in case my main goes out, and most importantly the beer
LOL!!!

From the Norsk Website:
Quality batteries, like the batteries offered by Norsk Lithium, have a Battery Management System (BMS) in place that stops our batteries from receiving a charge when the cells are too cold.
Essentially the BMS monitors internal cell temperature and interrupts the charge cycle if the internal cell temperature is too low.
