Lots of open water on the south end out of PdC.. Pj and put the hc in at the sewer plant and zipped over to Horseshoe where we set up tip downs Ifishpro’s and we’re jigging with the pink Tungsten Ice Fly in pink where I caught a nice gill and a decent perch but the bite was to slow for us so we moved on.
I did get to meet a nice young man that walked all the way out to Horseshoe!!
Thanks for coming over to say hi !!
How did your group do ?
Lots of open water on the way to garnet and grass pond…we hit several spots back there, marked a few fish but no takers…
It’s always a good day on the ice !!
    I love to explore !!

It was awesome to finally meet you! I’ve been fishing those backwaters my whole life and have been keeping an eye out for ya ! My friends had an enjoyable time tip up fishing – they landed a few decent pike and largemouth – around noon we zipped over to greymore and got on a decent gill bite towards dark . The key was to get far as away as possible from the horde of people on greymore . Today was terribly slow !
