You don’t want to close air off any where. the problem is lack of return air.You need to add more return vents downstairs.

you also need to realize the basement and up stairs will never be the same temp but you should be able to get them closer.

    BIRDDOG,
You are right Joe did not give any names or say which tournament but anyone who fishes tournaments or anyone who follows these tournaments knows exactly who he was talking about and which tournament he was referring to. Do you know these guys? I do and I know for a fact that there is no way that there is any truth to this what so ever. It was just plain wrong of Joe to write this without any proof.

If we are all wrong about this then why does the ODN not respond to any of the calls or emails?

No IDA gave out their names.

What do you mean that all you got? Seems to me it is heading that way as well. If they do plan to put a slot limit in the public I see no reason that the Spring netting should not be monitored and/or managed with a tighter slot as well to make things even out for everyone to make it a level playing field. So commenting is that all you got makes no sense at all when it was a very well put statement about the situation that is going on ,and what could happen in the future to fisherman and/or fishery.

Let me re-phrase before eveyones panties get in a bind.

Jon which politicians are changing the slot to 14″-16″?

I would like to call them and give them my 2 cents. Yes just poking fun thats it.

My only comment is this. It’s very important for everyone to remember that these regulations are being put in place for POLITICAL reasons, not for any kind of DNR fish management reasons and not for what is considered “GOOD” for the lake. In other words, reducing the slot to 14-16 is probably not going to be beneficial to the overall lake health. All it does is keep the non-Indian harvest quota under the court mandated harvest poundage. Nothing more.

I don’t think it is from my info it is postponed until tommorrow. Besides i don’t think you would get all to agree or even a majority to cancell this tourney after 1-day.

The rating is more for weight then HP.

Besides you could be ticketed if the motor does not match the rating plate.

I hardly think you can compare red and Mille Lacs.
Instead of coming on a public forum and pissing and moaning and getting all political about this subject ask yourself what can I (we) do about this it’s the same story every year but yet nobody seems to do anything but complain.

How bad has the fishing been on Mille Lacs since the netting and slots went into effect?
I know the area i used to fish slowed a bit early may so i have adjusted(found other places)and it seems to be working for me.

I would say that it probably isn’t going to do much.
Secondly you might get odors to backdraft into your home when the furnace is not running.
Per code you might need a fire damper at the penetration to the garage.
