go to Menards and get a piece of vinyl trim they use for vinyl siding.. it costs about $6 for a 8′ piece. cut it to size and then buy the 2″ numbers at menards for $1.26. Get too half moon galvanized moon clip (used to secure a pipe to a wall) and bend them around the rack of your ATV.. solid construction for very cheap.

Look at Tackle industries rods. Great rod for the price. Tooth tamer also makes a great rod for about $30 more.

I would go Honda or Yamaha. Very reliable machines. Can-am’s are nice but ungodly expensive and they were plagued with weak frames. Also, took a long time for dealers to fix due to part availablity. I have a 550 yamaha that i couldn’t be happier with. its price is good, and its a tough machine that does everything well. May not be the best in every catagory, but its great in every catagory. Alsoh have a suzuki which has been rock solid. We ride and use our machines pretty hard on trails and working in the yard. They plow snow, and are used year round. My family mostly rides hondas and they are very reliable too. they have less ground clearance however and lack a true diff lock. I would not buy a polaris, or Cat.

I would go ProXS. Just because i don’t like Verado’s. Way to complicated. I like 4 strokes in fact i have one on my boat but if Merc was my only choice it would be the proven XS

i will add my $.02.. i have a 1850 Reata and its truly a fish and ski. I do about 80% fishing now, but have kids that are young so that will turn around. Its a great boat to fish from but not what i call perfect. It works well, but a 620 is more of a fishing boat. If you need both, the 2050 is an awesome choice. Plenty of room to have fun on the water plus you can fish. REally depends on what the ultimate goal is for the boat. Either way, the ranger is a great boat that will last a long time and get good resale.

I HATE Sufix 832.. worst line i ever used. I am a power pro, cortland masterbraid user and it doesn’t let me down. 832 was terrible. It bled all over my boat and i have never had a line dig in like this stuff. I had to cut it from one of my reels with a utility knife it dug in so bad. Never again. tried it on 3 rigs, at 3 different times and this stuff is all hype. Also noticed it has a low tolerance for abrasion. After fishing hard one morning over rocks etc… i noticed the line was fraying in certain areas. I was out with a local guide who also tried it and said he had some break offs. His comments are very similar to mine.
