This is the reason why we quit fishing lynxville. To many big city folk who think they own the river because they have bigger boats than everyone. Also don’t forget about the people who anchor in the middle of the drifts or trolling upstream through the drifts and expect the people floating downstream to move for them……………………

I would recommend Al’s Specialty Marine in Rochester. I purchased a used pro v from them two years ago. Had some issues with the motor and they stood behind it and were very easy to work with. I know I will go back when I purchase my next boat!

My old mans ecoboost is a 6 speed with 3.55 rear end. Now granted it has a little less hp but more torque. It gets 17-19 mpg pulling his lund. IMO no other company can come close to the economy and power coming out of the 3.5 liter v6 ecoboost.

The lake has been taken over by yellow bass. Just another lake some person thought it would be a good idea to throw them in to. I know there are some real nice perch in the lake along with crappies. We have caught both thru the ice.

Seems to be a toss up. The eyes are there you just have to really work for them right now. Spring and fall seem to be the best. Problem is right now after 10am all of the joy riders are out and it gets real rough and real busy!

The way I have been seeing pictures from Kabeles trading post they are getting some nice eyes out of big spirit. Also been seeing some nice yellows coming out of boji!

Put the 60hp on it and put 50hp decals on the outside of the motor. No one will know the difference.

I bought a 6′ 3″ medium action spinning rod from 13Fishing this year and am very happy with it. The owner of the company is originally from Iowa, but the company is based out of florida. Very nice rods.

That extra grand for the eco boost is nothing. You will make that up in no time with fuel savings. Dad and brother both have 2012 ecoboosts and on the highway they range from 18-21mpg. Pulling the boat they both get 17-18mpg. On top of it the HP and Torque they have is more than the 5.0. Either way though you will love the truck. The crew cabs have more room than a chevy, dodge, or toyota. On top of it as well you bought a truck that isn’t from a foreign or bankrupt company!!!! Good choice!!!

Fished Genoa today. Plenty of boat traffic being there is a walleye tournament up there tomorrow. Both boat ramps at black hawk park are open. Also the victory landing is open. We ran from the dam to the mouth of the minnesota slough without a problem. Kept 10 fish. One 18″ walleye and 9 saugers. Threw back a 6.5lb female walleye as well.

Which launch were they using?? The one in the park or the one by the bait shop there at the park?

This is a toss up in my book. I have a yammer hammer on my pro v right now and don’t mind it but I know for a fact my next motor will be an etec. Fuel economy and speed can’t be beat from what I have seen. Buddy has one on his pro v same size and year as mine and I can’t keep up or get the economy he gets.

They are in Iowa but they normally have every time of motor. Wilken auto salvage. They are in Nashua and Waukon Iowa.

My dad and brother both have one. More power and torque than most small v8’s and better mileage even while towing and boat. They are averaging 17 to 19 on the highway. Top I have seen was 21.9. That was two lane roads with cruise set at 62. Most of the time towing the boat(17ft lund) he will pull 16 to 17mpg. Crew cab to is the biggest cab of all of them as well.

Fished Clear lake today. Had decent luck on yellows. Caught them on crawlers and minnows. Got a couple crappie as well. Tried for eyes for about 20min. with no luck. Was a great day as the lake was glass until about 1pm.

You will be very happy with the eco boost. My brother and dad both have one. 17 to 18mpg pulling his 16.6 lund and averages 20mpg on the highway. That is running 87 octane as well not 89.
