    part of the problem might be .. “if its 30″ its going on the wall”.. and then there are always the nets and spearing. I caught a 30″ last year.. and a bunch of 28″ers
    so.. they are out there.. we just have to watch our recource very carefully.

    103 miles is exactly correct.. I just wanted to hear it from the locals.. I have been fishing the lake for almost 40 years myself,and lived on it for a few of those.. so I know.
    I have PULLED people out of the big lake alive AND Dead!. hard water or soft water,
    its Never worth it .. no matter how bad the fishing fever is
