Probably a way to locate some fish, but you can’t beat a jerkbait or fluke most days or a jig and trailer. I just usually fish slow though.

South end is still locked up and some big ice flows, but has been opening up with the high water and a little wind

Stearns \ Mad Dog makes one that mounts to most racks, holds the handle in 2 spots and will accomodate up to a 10″ blade, I have it on my ATV but don’t have a pic, not sure how sturdy this will be so I have a strap also

Continental Touring is the best tire I ever had on my Taurus, I commute a LONG way and got almost 100,000 miles and they were excellent in snow

I drive by the lake each day, it skimed over last Thursday in the middle and south end (Maiden Rock & south) I have seen no one venture out anywhere

I also owned a 175 FM with a 90 Yamaha, was a great boat with lots of room, dry ride. Sides will catch wind when drifting and mine came short on trolling motor power (55 pound) I went up to a 80 pound Maxxum, and upgrade of electronics. Trailered well also.

Got to like Wisconsin’s chance with the amount of Jr’s and Sr’s on this squad.

By Canadian law he is a felon, as a commercial driver you can not get into Canada period they will not allow you to fastpass or allow a broker to get you through customs. To get “off” the list requires a ton of paperwork and recommendations from references and employers.

I drove by this morning and there is open water down past the ramp, not sure what shape the ramp is in though as I could not see it from 35, might try the bait shop in Alma?

I have the 4.7 Ram 4×4 1500 , and I tow my 20 foot Bass Cat, 225 Merc, 4 battery, 52 gallon tanks with tandem axle trailer everywhere, never a problem other than getting past the gas stations. I think the bigger Hemi gets better mpg than my 4.7 ?

Went out to the airport late this morning and had a good bite, lots of sorting and not as big gills as other places but got about a dozen mostly 7-7 1/2 but 2 or 3 over 8. Not bad for a couple hours in the middle of the day. Orange Ratso and a Blue and White demon spoon worked well with waxies.

Drove by today and looked like some ice may have drifted into the boat launch area, did not look at the launch but seemed to be ice piled up on the WI shoreline side from the dam down

I drove by yesterday and the water is open from the dam to past the power plant, I did not see any boats so not sure of the situation at the launch. Could try the bait shop in Alma for current conditions?

Looked like more than half of the shacks at Maiden Rock were pulled in the last 2 days, saw a guy driving across in a full size pickup this morning? Could see lots of cracks and heaves from Hwy 35.

Just drove by this morning, ice is out at least to the power plant, doesn’t look like many chunks floating around either.

Just drove by this morning, looks to be open for about a half mile below the dam, not sure where the launch is, lots of eagles on the ice where there is still ice south of town.

I would add Sturgeon Bay and the harbors on Green Bay, just need to be aware of the wind as you can get some rough water here in a hurry. I beleive they had 3 over 6 pounds in the Open last year.

For my Mag 2000 they made a replacement recoil that just bolts in, no hassle and was about $25? I think.

Just got a 50″ Panasonic Plasma 1080P, bought it online and paid for white glove delivery and they delivered it downstairs and inspected it, saved over $400 over retail outlet. I would agree the Pioneer Plasma is best but will be built by Panasonic going forward. If you are looking for an LCD, Contrast ratio (higher is better) and refresh 120hz should help reduce the blur you can get from fast moving action (Football or Hockey) just my .02 cents worth.
