If it were me I’d give myself 5 days of fishing and try and tackle it myself, load up the snowmobile pick up some paddle tails, jig heads, tubes, and slap on some braid to a heavy floro leader
Good info Brian I appreciate it! If I’m spending over a $100 it’s gonna be on a TUCR but I’m definitely interested in the twilight series as it’s hard to find a decent long rod 39-40” in the $55 price range. Tight lines all
Last year the wild were one of the worst 1st period teams, this year one of the best. The fact that the boys are ready from the initial puck drop says a lot about the coaching to me.
Interesting, I also am having issues with my FL28. I called Vexilar on Friday and they told me to stop down so I drove a hour 1 way today only for the guy to tell me it will be a week before they can even look at it and 2 weeks before they can fix it. Pretty frustrating to say the least that they didn’t even offer me or even try a “quick” fix. I’m either ordering a marcum or Humminbird today and will have my vexilar fixed this summer and sold on marketplace in the fall.
What is a decent Lowrance unit that doesn’t break the bank to purchase specifically for the GPS/lake maps (i have a fl28 already so won’t need unit for a flasher) that I can mount on my snowmobile/ATV?
I fish mille lacs, red, lotw, and starting a annual trip to Winnipeg in March of 2020.
