I’ve had that same problem fishing in below zero temps with cold propane trying to get the heater to catch . Problem solved with using warmer propane to get it started

I’ll 2nd dales fish house rental as there a small outfit but they have nice sleepers,private outhouse,generator,tv/dvd,stove with all the utensils,and good fishing structures. I’ll be there tomorrow as this is my 3rd Christmas up there. But need to book early for weekends as they fill up fast

I checked out the kovac adapter and seems like a better, more thought out product than the strikemaster. A little more money but what ice fisherman cares about a price tag right! Thanks for the info
