I hear Paul Allen (PA) is announcing Wild games on the radio this season. WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO LISTEN TO SOMEONE WHO HAS NEVER PLAYED A SECOND OF HOCKEY ANNOUNCE A GAME?

The problem is and has been #9, #11 and #20.

I can’t stand Koivu as a captain. When I think of a captain I think of someone who can lead by example. He is slow, takes a lot of penalties and seems very quiet on the bench. Give the “C” to Staal now.

Parise got lucky playing in New Jersey where he actually had some talent around him to help the Devils get the the cup finals and then Jackpot! He signed a big contract and took away any chance of the Wild contending for many years to come. Oh, not too mention he went behind the coaches back and had Adam Oates attend practices to help improve the power play. Very disrespectful if you ask me. If it is true that he would consider waiving the no trade I would ship him out in a heart beat.

Suter spends too much time on the ice and shouldn’t be the first one out on the power play. He doesn’t play physical enough in the corners and he is slow.

This will be the 2nd year in a row that the Wild miss the playoffs.

I am officially off the Wild bandwagon so I am not going to lose any sleep if Zucker goes. In regards to Kessel or any other good player out there looking for a team to play on why would they pick Minnesota? Who would want to play in front of the boring home fans? Who would want to listen to the non-leadership of Koivu, Suter and Parise! This team is going to stink until those three are gone. State of hockey my a**.

I like the trade. IMO Granlund was an upgraded Pierre Marc-Bouchard. I don’t think he was having an off season as much as I think his size is a factor in his lack of production. He seems to get tossed around like a rag doll out there. I am ready for the faster version of the Minnesota Wild.
Also, now that they extended Stahl’s contract will Fenton please slap the “C” on his jersey. Koivu is no guarantee for next season and Parise and Suter are as good at leading the Wild as Mauer was at leading the Twins. (Insert cricket sound here)

Maybe the addition of Donato will light a fire under the other slackers butts? I still think they stink and they have a long way to go before I jump back on the bandwagon.
What is the deal with Zucker? Signs a big contract and stinks up the joint. Is he just another over-rated player?

IMO zero of this has to do with Koivu being out! If anything what you see is a product of Koivu leading this team since his started wearing the “C”. Has this team won anything? NOPE!!!

It’s too bad that Stahl will probably be gone soon because I would like to see him take over as the captain of this team. He seems to be very vocal on the bench and the guy can play despite his age. Oh, and he has a cup under his belt. Can’t say that about any of the other over paid skaters on the club.

Try Harrison’s Bay. Can’t miss where the fish are biting by the amount of house out there.

They don’t let you go out to the ice houses until 8:00am and they want you out of them at 6:00pm. Need I say more?

Bruce should be fired for saying something that stupid. Slap the “C” on Stahl’s jersey and let’s roll!

I thought I was watching a replay of a game from last season. What a boring hockey team. They are slow! Get #9 and #20 off of the power play!! I hope the new GM starts shaking things up soon.

I would check out Pickeral Arm Camp on Lake Minnataki near Sioux Lookout. This past June was my 29th time up there and I know the lake really well. Two years ago I brought my daughters up there and they were 14 years old and they loved the fishing action. I will be up there next June 8th through the 15th.

I leave for Lake Minnitaki near Sioux Lookout next Friday and my go to for big walleyes and pike are a musky rod combo and an 8″ Phantom lure in the walleye pattern. I got this 45 incher last time up there.

Why don’t we all sit back and take a good look at what our team captain has done for this team. NOTHING! As long as he is silently leading by example this team will stink.

The first thing the new GM should do is go straight to Koivu and ask him to waive his no trade. He is the cancer of this team. Then after that put Eric Staal in as the captain. He seems to be the only vocal person on the bench.

Dutchboy, we have been watching a below average team for a long time. Yeah they might end up with a good home record during the regular season but the overall playoff record speaks for itself. At this time next year we will all be saying the same things about this team. Believe me when I say I am the biggest homer when it comes to the Wild and I thought about cheering for a quality NHL team but I can’t. I wanted to turn the TV off after the first 30 seconds but I stuck it out to the end as painful as it was.
There will be nothing more disappointing if the Wild sit back and do nothing during the off season to improve this team.

Years ago my dad was at a local roller skating rink with one of his brothers and while they were skating around an Aerosmith song came on and my dad said to his brother “who is this? They are good.” His brother told him as the music was playing and my dad replied “Harold Smith?”.

Going June 9th thru 16th. I have no problem catching all the big walleye and pike I want so I want to try for something different. Got this 45″ pike 2 years ago out of Minnitaki. I have been looking at a bunch of different lake trout fishing rigs online so I think I will be good to go.

I use mine as my dead stick and don’t touch it. I let it sit about 3 feet off the bottom and use my other rod with a jig head and minnow to bring the fish in. The fish swim pass my jig and slam the rippin rap. I will be using this system up at LOW this coming Sunday.

You can’t be serious! Are you watching tonight’s game? Pathetic!!!!!!! Sure they had a good steak previous to this past weekend but they do not have enough talent to sustain a run for the rest of the season. Are you happy if the get in as an 8 seed? I am not! I see Pittsburg is making trades tonight. A defending Stanley Cup Champion already making trades to better their team for another run. Minnesota? (insert cricket noise here)
