    go to cabelas and buy Mann’s hardnose toads and find a slough with current and slop just cast parralle no the slop
    current is the key
    if you can get up to the dam you and cast right in to the dam you will get several huge fish i caught 8 ,2 pounders up there the other day

    try a mann hardnose toad and just throw them in a little ways and bring them out and the fish will hit right on the weed edge all colors work good

    i’ve heard several stories but i think that the black river is to shallow and doesn’t have enough current the tournment down here didn’t lose w=any fish that week because they put them back into the mississippi because thats where they came from

    i’m fishing for large mouth bass

    my dad told me about hardnose toads and the are the best thing ever but the catch ratio isn’t the best
