March 26, 2012 at 12:33 pm #119545you do know if there are fewer hens, they still can not produce very many birds. I’ve seen two hens in the last year down here in Iowa. More then anyone else I’ve talk to.

That is a crock but there hundreds of examples just as bad. Like the Government subsitizing the oil and ethanol companies while they rake in record profits. Just my 2cents.
If a 30% profit on investment is so unrealistic then why do all other business’s operate on around 30%. Oh and by the way — what is your return on what you have at risk ( your investment )??????? You realize that almost all of us have IRA- 401k-or the like that are holding large amounts of $$$$$ in oil and gas company stock. My 2 cents

How the heck does someone sleep knowing a deer like this is on your property?
It’s really hard to keep the poachers and lookers away. If you know it’s there so do many others who have no respect for private property !!!!!!!!!

I’d rather have Canada oil flow through the states rather then get sold to China. Canada will sell this oil if not thru the states then off to China. Seems pretty simple to me. Hate to minimize all the politics surrounding it but it boils down to a basic choice. Canada is our closest ally China is our biggest rival.
The purpose of the pipeline is to transfer the oil to Gulf of Mexico where it will be sold and shipped to China.
Excuse me but the purpose is to get the oil to a REFINERY to be made into fuels we can use !!!!

Dogs are not born mean, they are raised that way. Ive had multiple German Shepperds they all went to obiedence school, they were not ever trained to be agressive outside. When you came to my house they let you know they were around but never aggresive to anyone. People like the rots owner should be locked up and the dog should be taken away. Dogs are a gift that we should never abuse. They are part of someones family, except the knuckleheads who own the rot. If that dog ever attacked one of my grand kids, the outcome for the dog would not be good.THEN the owner better have real good health insurance. Just my opinion
most ins. co. won’t insure rots or several other dogs
December 12, 2011 at 1:10 pm #116669only if there are some hens, will the populations improve. In my area there are way to many hawks and other predators, and not neer enough habitat.

Inspect all you want. Ducks geese egrets herons all swim and wade around in infected waters then fly to the next pond. Boom it has spread. I asked a boat checker how can they explain millfoil in ponds that have no boats or canoes. only ducks geese etc. I think we need to check and remove anything you can off boats and trailers but your are pretty naive to think we are the only way they get spread around. Remember they said it only takes on little millfoil frond or leaf to start a new plant. I have shot geese and ducks that have had little bits of duck weed etc in their feathers that did not come from where they fell when shot. Perhaps they need to prevent waterfowl from going lake to lake.
Mwal
excellent points. spend all they want of the taxpayers $$$$ and it still spreads!!!! WHY DO YOU THINK IT SPREADS
