I had a power drive with the updated I pilot head added on after I had bought the motor. It works pretty well, and I didn’t have issues with it. I bought it mainly to have the spotlock ability for that motor.

My current boat has a Terrova with I-pilot and the gps puck. I have to say having the jog feature it very nice. The Terrova replaced the same model Terrova that was on the boat when I bought it but 11 years newer. The GPS, and software the newer motors use is definitely an improvement over the early ones.

I shared this with a friend who is in support of banning FFS because she believes it will cause a decline in overall fish population in lakes. Yet show owns a $4000 livescope setup.

I recently bought a $1200 panoptix setup for ice fishing this last winter, and I do have to say it did help me put more fish topside. But I also don’t harvest fish all that often, and I’m sure not keeping bag limits every day of the season.

I personally would vote NO on the matter. Just my personal opinion.

I work at a local dealership, and people all the time freak out when I quote them the price. Then they freak out even more when I tell them the cost of labor.

I’m sorry. But I do enjoy a fat paycheck so I can buy more musky gear. And we all know that stuff ain’t cheap.
