Easy enough to answer…People going on vacation already plan on spending $$$$$. I-90/LaCrosse really is not the preferred route for people going up north Cabelas Owatonna catching people coming up 35 to the lakes. Cabelas Rodgers same scenario. I would guess the majority of out of state anglers coming to Minnesota from the SE are more likely to take 94 up than 90 over. I live in the Brainerd area and we do not have a big store either in town, Reeds being an hour away. They prolly figure the locals are not going to fill a shopping cart and the tourists have already been raped on the way up. Just my opinion

I really doubt they will be getting tows up through Pepin any time soon. Do you remember the date they broke through last year??

Aggressive but still good on the highway I would recommend Goodyear Duratracs. They are expensive but are good tires.

There is a fuel treatment called Meltdown that seems to work far better than 911. Never had seen it before working in Grand Rapids this winter.

The guys at SBC mounted a DI xducer on the bottom of my Terrova. Yes the cable runs right down the groove and gets siliconed in place. Works well!!

If you can get something hooked on it and can’t get it through the hole you can always tie on a buoy and shove it under the ice for an easy retrieval in the spring

Take a little drive up to Baxter and stop at Morey’s on 371. http://moreysmarkets.com/ Everything I have got there has been really good!! And there is an awesome meat market(Von Hansons) across the street. Morey’s has frog legs too.

Pantyhose/tights. Laugh if you want to but they keep you warm, wick the sweat away, and are cheap as hell. I wear them all winter working/fishing. If it gets minus 0 them wear them under long johns and still not bulky like wearing bibs

I had an ’87 Formula plus. Was an awesome sled and pretty fast in it’s day. Can’t remember when Ski-Doo changed their tracks but if it has metal track clips watch those. They like to break off.

Nope had a hold of the dock. Was checking to see if the boat was going to be able to launch this week or if I was going to give it up and put away for the winter. I’ll check back tomorrow afternoon

I’m working on this project and will be out on one of the drill rig barges. This is my first time doing water work and let me tell you it is very hard watching guys fishing in front of you while you’re at work
