It’s said that fluorocarbon isn’t ideal for spinner rigs because it sinks.

im not to concerned about that on lake Erie because we mostly fish 30 + ft. of water and we are mostly fishing the top 5-15 ft of water cause the fish are suspended.

find a 30/32ah lithium on amazon for 60 bucks and call it a good day.

Scheels has the Amped outdoors 30 amp hr for 200 bucks and charger is 20 bucks. used mine all last summer on livescope and never ran out of power

Thanks. Just wanted to make sure it was the thermostat and not something else. I’ll pick one up after work. If I kill the power to the furnace, that should stop the power to the thermostat too correct?

    yes its low voltage

I just talked to a Garmin rep and he said next release is two years out. I think I’m gonna pull the trigger on the 34 soon.

I just built another garmin livescope in a bundle in the last 30 days and called garmin rep twice with questions and both reps told me the same thing when i asked whats coming out new and both told me nothing new in the near future. so time will tell. i have a 106 and a 126 with the lvs34 and i cant see needing anything better at this point

Great question. This year I think I’ll buy her a new trolling motor for “our” boat. What could go wrong?

I have a little prayer that it’ll be like last year and local lakes will see no ice castles.

YES. Or better yet, NO ICE!

For box stores, Scheels gets probably 90% of my fishing purchases. They’re the best mix of customer service + availability I’ve found. Fleet Farm is way more hit or miss, but IF something you need there is in stock, you might save a few bucks comparatively.

Cabelas = Don’t get me started.

I buy a lot at Scheels if i can because of my card points and i have a store 40 miles away but its getting tougher to find much in stock lately been doing some traveling lately and stopping at cabelas stores and they all have way more fishing equipment in stock so buying there. i also order a lot online
